phart
Mark Blyth the economist I quoted earlier talked at length about how the UK's economy is set up so that the only way to make money is to keep squeezing at labour. So we live in a system thats objective is to make money and it's only avenue to make money is to exploit the people that populate the system. Here's the book he references https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rentier-Capitalism-Owns-Economy-Pays/dp/1788739728

exile
Archived versison here "Researchers found that for the year ending 2019 to 2020, the population of EU-born individuals in England reduced from 3.23 million to 3.03 million. The figures for Scotland rose from 238,000 to 240,000, and a similar rise was seen in northern Ireland – from 89,000 to 90,000. The numbers for Wales also increased, from 78,000 to 83,000." Heck they proved themselves as arseholes in 2014 and again over voting for Brexit but the eejits still go on the record to blame the SNP/Scottish Government who were against Brexit all along. Look closer to home for someone to blame arseholes.
