Evil for lack of a better word, psychopathic might be more suited.

Most people aren’t evil though.

Don't really think I've ever met anyone I'd describe as evil, I'd have to look up psychopathic but wouldn't have thought you could describe a government as psychopathic, is that not an individual thing.

There appears to be a consensus that the vast majority of people don’t understand what the EU is and what it does.

Decent argument to leave . . .

It's an argument on a par with "Alex Salmond is fat" for not voting Yes.  As others have pointed out what other things that the majority of people don't understand should we stop.

It's an argument for people having a better understanding into how the EU works, good and bad.

Possibly but if you’re going to add another layer of government then shouldn’t the public have a basic understanding of how it works?

Anyway, back to the important Brexit stuff, I've got a little bit of admiration for Teresa, battering on regardless, it's the utter silence from those on the sidelines of the Conserative upcoming party leadership battle that amazes me.

That's a bit too far mate...she's not human ..more like a rebooted every now and then and spouts out the same phrases. One of the worst politicians Ive ever seen.

Scots Tories to back 2nd Brexit referendum? (denied elsewhere)

Scots Tories possibly splitting from the rest of the party? (who knows?)

Scots Tories softening on independence? - no. looks like their fear of a no deal Brexit is driven by an undiminished unionism

Rubbish article.

Not a cat's chance of them 'splitting'. There is no such thing as 'Scottish' Tory group, mind when Journos like Deerin were trying to tell us (when they won their seats in 17) that they would go to Westminster as a separate entity,  haha.

They have caved in and voted with the government on every issue even ones Mundell, Davidson threatened to resign/not back e.g CFP ; but fold like an accordion when the time comes.

The likes of Deerin and Massie, will never vote Yes - even if they huff and puff a bit straight after the Brexit vote. Not that all he writes is pish though, but this certainly is.

How did it ake journalists from outwith Scotland to have Mundell and Davidson tied up in knots?

Does the Edinburgh Agreement never expire in the eyes of the Unionists then? The SNP have renewed their mandate since the referendum and have pledged to hold a referendum in the event of Scotland being taken out the EU against our wishes. Surely that supersedes any non-legally binding agreement from 2012.

Spot on. Clueless and full of BS and no ability to answer direct questions she is asked. Lets not forget she was at the head of things when Project Windrush blew up and the way she dealt with it was disgusting. We then had the pathetic strong and stable diatribe - how pathetic that claim is now. We also had her BS of no magic money tree to pay nurses a paltry well-deserved pay rise but found billions within weeks to pay the DUP cash to back them. A horrible excuse for a person.

Sounds like it could be any conservative politician ever.

Almost as though it doesn’t matter which one is leader ...

Well no not really. May oversaw a terrible misjustice of Project Windrush when she was Foreign Secretary. By the time it all came out she had gained promotion to PM - I have never known a PM to get promotion following involvement in such a scandal of big proportions that impacted on so many people's lives.

Been to brussels and strasbourg 10 years in a row. Biggest waste of money i have ever seen. Its a good idea to keep peace in europe and that is a good thing. But i would rather be run from edinburgh. Old saying about keeping your own house in order.

An independent Scotland in or out of the EU would be run from Edinburgh.

I do not see the date of Brexit coming into being becoming Independence Day in the UK - because it isn't. The UK (whilst in the EU) have been able to choose not to join the Euro. They have went into a phoney war in the Gulf without European backing and been allowed to vote on whether to leave the EU. All acts of an independent country.

What’s that about?

Armed forces leave cancelled from 1st April - not a fool

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-46600850

Separately, Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson has told MPs that 3,500 military personnel, including logisticians and engineers as well as infantry units, were ready to be deployed if needed.

About 10% of the force would be reservists who will receive their call up papers in the middle of January so that if needed they would be ready in March.

Does seem like an attempt to make the public fearful and scared. To what extent the fear is legitimate I’m not sure.
