Rightly so. We were told what would happen.

Yup, just confirmation of the news when it broke.

I'm sure we'll be able to cover the fine pretty easily from the memberships and season tickets sold.

FIFA are also investigating the build up to the game - poppies on seats, booing of anthems, and objects being thrown on to the pitch, are all under scrutiny, apparently !

I get the impression they will look to throw the book at both associations.  England as the host association will no doubt get the biggest punishment.

It's hardly surprising given they knew beforehand what FIFA's view was and they chose to ignore that.

We're back to arguments about strict liability etc.

Bottom line is both FAs did what they thought was within the rules, if FIFA disagree then they will both take a slap on the wrist or a fine. Anything more would be a PR disaster for FIFA although they have plenty history with those.

Regardless of the poppies, nobody should be throwing things on the park; that's not right and may incur a fine which the SFA could probably do without.

Booing of anthems is a whatabouterry issue for social media, nothing else, They started it, we were booing the people booing, aye but you's dis this etc. No case to answer.

hopefully the sfa get hammered for this and the heid yins are held to account and resign.

It was arrogant and irresponsible in the extreme to deliberately and knowingly put us in the position where points deduction and/or fine was possible.

For that alone Reagan needs his jotters.
