This type of behaviour is unacceptable and we would remind supporters to be respectful of the SSC staff at all times regardless of the circumstances. How about the poor service from the SSC? So if a message went round the ATAC group about the poor service from the SSC and their attitude towards fans you would release a statement on that as well? All we are asking for is fair treatment. Or do you only release statements that show the fans in bad light so not to harm your relationship with the SFA/SSC?

The Association of Tartan Army Clubs (ATAC) acts on behalf of fans of the Scottish national team, both home and away. We have clubs across the country. If you don't need to justify your decision to the fans then how can you claim to act on behalf of us? northernscum
ATAC & Ghostzapper are having a bit of a 'mare! 0/10 for PR & customer relations. Kind of sums things up in general at the moment.

Debian
A pal of mine has been given a warning by the SSC. He went to pick up at Wembley, and his ticket was given away. He wasn't shouty or swore, and he stood at the front of the queue for a full five minutes asking for an answer as to why, and what was to be done. He was blanked, and eventually told to leave or security would escort him away. He eventually went away, but came back just as the game was starting, and politely asked if there were any tickets available. He was advised no, and that they couldn't give him a ticket that wasn't picked up - another mate had pulled out at the last minute, who's ticket was there and was willing to speak to the SSC and authorise it. Now, he eventually did get in to the game after buying an English ticket and manage to meet us. He has however been given a final warning from the SSC and been advised if he requests tickets in this manner again, or emails them asking for an investigation he will be banned. I find this behaviour disgusting by the SSC and it is nigh on time some of those involved in the SSC are taken to task. Is there anything that @ATACcan do? Whichever way you look at it, the treatment you received on the night was unacceptable. However, the way they have treated you thereafter is even more unacceptable. Rather than hold their hands up, admit their grave error and show some humiilty by making amends for their appalling level of customer service in the circimstances, they accept no liability and terminate your membership even in the face of your profuse apology. By any standard of analysis, that treatment falls well below the levels of service that you and all members are fully entitled to expect from all SSC staff, especially those who are customer facing. Great post Barney. I concur.
The Laud
Our club pays dues to ATAC annually not much i know £25 i think. At our next meeting i will be putting forward a motion to pull out of this shambles of an organisation.

Giving staff members abuse isn't on, however maybe ATCA should be issuing public statements to the SFA outlining concerns at: - Clearly inadequate pick-up opportunities - 1 pick-up from 2 hours before the game is a disgrace - The SSC giving out tickets to people they do not belong to The complete absence of standing up for Scotland fans from the happy clappers involved in ATAC is laughable. Did the person(s) that this happened to contact ATAC? Other than anecdotal stuff from strangers on a message board it'd be tough to represent that person. unless everything on here is 100% accurate obviously
irnbruman
ATAC don't represent the ice cream tartan army. We will not be licked or whipped by them.
