Malcolm
Like our game, the Scottish fans have become muted and pedestrian over the years.... It was far more edgy in the seventies and eighties.

It is an apt description for a big portion of our fans. We, as a team are sh!te. We can't defend and we can't score - a recipe for disaster for any football team. This has been going on now over a number of years through a number of managers. However, the mugs are those that think the problem lies totally with the managers. It is clearly evident our problems run far deeper than that and until that is recognized nothing will change. We are like alcoholics who are beyond help until we recognize we are shite and have big problems with the structure of the sport, the coaching from a young age, the training regimes and youth development. My thoughts are that the SFA are much like a portion of the mug supporters who refuse to believe we have BIG problems. FFS Sort it out or else we won't be in any position to qualify anytime for the next decade.
Angusfifer
We're certainly world class hand-wringers. Our game is at a low ebb at the moment, but turning on supporters who spend their hard earned cheering on their country will change nothing... I have no issue with supporters backing the side but backing them on the belief they are some sort of world beaters or semi-competitive side is foolish. We are crap and there has to be acceptance of that and the sport needs changing from the roots up. Sacking Strachan will happen but as long as nothing else is changed our game will continue to die at international level.

I don't believe any Scotland supporter doesn't want us to be top class and competitive. We get told we can't compete with big nations and must be realistic or we are told we celebrate and accept failure.
