  3. Hi all, I'd just like to bring my Scotland podcast to the attention of fellow fans. I hope this post is allowed, apologies if it goes against any rules of the forum. It's called The Hampden Roar and I've been interviewing former players, and so far one manager, about their international careers. I've got 9 episodes online and have some more good guests lined up over the coming months. Kenny Miller, Gary Caldwell, Stephen McManus, Paul Lambert, Ian Murray, Jim McCalliog, Murdo McLeod and Craig Brown episodes are all online. Part two of my interview with Kenny Miller will be out this week. The host website with episodes is called Audioboom and can be found here https://audioboom.com/channels/4969604 It's also on iTunes, Spotify and Google podcasts if those platforms suit any potential listeners better. Thanks for taking the time to read and I hope that anyone that gives it a go enjoys it. Cheers, Andy.

  6. Hi All Me and a couple of pals have started a new website that we hope may be of interest. https://www.supportyouevermore.com is designed to provide a resource for fans of the Scottish national team by bringing together various interesting facts and statistics and where possible analysing the data to help make some sense of our own unique brand of tartan madness. At the moment it includes: - bios of legendary players and recent managers; - upcoming fixtures with more background on our opponents; - some stats that we haven’t been able to find elsewhere e.g. most decorated Scotland player, most major tournament appearances etc; - a Scottish football magazine aggregating news articles related to the team; - youtube videos of classic tartan army songs; - a fan’s view of all World Cup and European Championship qualifying campaigns since 1974 (and each major tournament we have attended); - a features page looking at questions such as whether is it getting mathematically more difficult to qualify, how far away we are from qualifying etc; - links to other related sites; and - a blog with our view of recent events including Alex Mcleish’s return, Scott Brown’s retirement and the renewal of SSC membership. We are still developing the site and really interested in feedback at this stage as to whether Scotland fans would visit and what we could add to make it more useful. It's done as a hobby so we’re not looking to make wonga from it but we would be grateful if you could help us spread the word and get some traffic on to the site. You can post feedback directly through the site or email me at rab@supportyouevermore.com Mon the Scotland. All the best Tartan Rab

  8. Folks, In 2007 we walked from Somerset Park to Hampden in memory of Ally MacLeod and to raise awareness of Alzheimer's, and with the help of the fellow foot soldiers we raised over £27,000 for Alzheimer's Scotland and Hampden was jumping as they played "We are on the march with Ally's Army" as we handed the cheque over to Ally's wife Faye. The message that day was that Ally is still loved by us all, and we have been trying unsuccessfully for years to get him inducted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame. Last year, Ally got a good number of the nominations again but wasn't inducted. We asked for a freedom of information act request on the number of votes received but this wasn't recorded by the hall of fame, but to their credit they gave us all the other information. This year we want to step up the campaign and show that Ally deserves his place in the hall of fame. We have had some Ally masks made for us (ready to wear) and we are hoping that we can start the ball rolling with this and that 100's of Ally's will turn up in Dublin in June and at Hampden thereafter. It will be fun but at the same time hopefully get a message across to the media there. The picture for the masks was picked by the MacLeod family and shows a smiling, happy Ally. Can you help spread the word and join us in our quest. Any profit from the production of the masks will be donated yet again to Alzheimer's Scotland. We also have an online petition on Change.org that we intend to hand to the Hall of Fame once the inductions commence later this year. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=251923818475 Let's go on the March with Ally's Army again......... Thank you
