Tartan Army — I know a lot of you are looking at that long drive from Boston to Miami. I’m going to throw out a stop that most of you probably have never heard of: Tarboro, North Carolina. It’s not a tourist trap. It’s not a big city. It’s a small Southern town just off I-95 where you can get a room, grab a beer, eat well, and catch your breath before finishing the run to Miami. The drive works out pretty clean: Boston to Tarboro — around 10.5 hours Tarboro to Miami — around 11.5 hours So instead of driving yourself into the ground, split the trip and let us give you a proper welcome. We’ve got local beer at Tarboro Brewing Company and Taps on Main, food at On the Square, and if you want something different, the Tarboro River Bandits have baseball this weekend at Tarboro Municipal Stadium. And here’s the deal: show up to a River Bandits home game in a Scotland or World Cup jersey and your first beer is on us. I’ll attach the flyer and my WhatsApp QR code. Message me if you need help with where to stay, where to eat, or how to make the stop work. Safe travels south. Miami needs to hear you coming. Alba gu bràth.

Quick note for any of the Tartan Army doing the Boston to Miami drive. I’m in Tarboro, North Carolina, and our little town sits in a pretty useful spot if you’re trying to split that drive. You’d be looking at roughly 10.5 hours from Boston to here, then around 11.5 hours from here to Miami. It’s not a big city stop, but that may be the point. Easy place to get off I-95, get a room, have a beer, eat something decent, and not fight the madness for a night. We also have summer baseball here this weekend with the Tarboro River Bandits. If you show up in a Scotland or World Cup jersey, your first beer is on us. A few places worth knowing: Tarboro Brewing Company Taps on Main G Spot Bar & Lounge On the Square Tarboro River Bandits baseball I’ll attach the flyer and my WhatsApp QR. If anybody has questions, message me. Happy to help point you in the right direction. Safe travels south. Bring the noise to Miami. Alba gu bràth.
