  3. I'm sure most won't have heard of Greg Trooper but if you're a fan of Springsteen, Steve Earle et al you won't be disappointed. I first heard of him in the 1980s when Earle covered Little Sister, Trooper's song about child abuse. Trooper died a couple of months ago. He was only 61. Despite having been aware of him for 30 years I hadn't heard a great deal of his stuff - loving Amsterdam, They Call Me Hank, Mary of the Scots in Queens, but lots of other great stuff.
