  1. Very slow and predictable. I get patient build up play but there were no runs in behind and no creativity. Always the same, side to side passing with no spark at all. It was so lacklustre and did not give us in the crowd anything to cheer about. I expected a performance given that there are still places to play for in Germany but it was very timid. One of the biggest cheers was when Gilmour clattered into one of their players. Hendry must've had more possession than their whole team tonight.
  2. Much preferred the ticket stubs, a lot more efficient. Was already a bit of a shambles in the last campaign with queues building due to scanning emails and print out tickets so fingers crossed the app is user friendly and works. Mentioned on STV news earlier that over 37000 tickets sold.
  3. Surprised they didn't all go in a flash given the demand and fair play to you for re-selling via UEFA at face value. Good luck with the new job
  4. The SSC should be transparent from the outset. There's a lot of drip fed information which leads to speculation which is totally avoidable. Telling SSC members and non-members what they need to know beforehand would alleviate a lot of anxiety. Surely not too much to ask
  5. Let's hope it goes smoothly on the day when QR codes are available
  6. Got an email today from UEFA which may help some fans looking to buy/sell tickets:- There are a few things you might want to know: The Resale Platform will be open until 11 March 2024, 11:00 CET for you to list your tickets. From 13 March 2024, 11:00 CET – 14 March 2024, 11:00 CET the Resale Platform will be open for fans to purchase tickets. Once your tickets are sold, you will receive a confirmation email. You will be refunded in full to the same Alipay account or credit/debit card used for making the purchase The Resale Platform will be open in several time slots. In case your tickets do not sell in the current sales window, they will be offered to fans during further sales windows. Keep an eye on euro2024.com/tickets to stay informed about the respective time slots. If your tickets do not sell, they will remain yours. If you have any questions, please visit our FAQ section.
  7. Fair point, hadn't thought about that example
  8. Not sure of the online code but will get discount when using your SSC membership card in store
  9. I think the points system works as it was intended however, I would prefer that no games drop off as opposed to only including the last 10 homes/last 10 aways. I'd prefer any points to tally up. I've 11 points from home games (didn't go to the Poland home match) but went to many more prior to that. Also think that the SSC service has went downhill for the past while and should be more engagement opportunities. Its been on a decline since ticket prices were compared to attending a David Guetta gig in the days of Stewart Regan. We should also receive a breakdown of costs possibly annually to see where our membership fees are going. I feel like there is not many advantages being an SSC member and there should also have been some sort of discount when purchasing the 5 match package up front.
  10. I logged in at 10am but was waiting for about 35 mins before I could access the system. By that point sections F2 and F3 were already 'greyed out' and I was unable to select seats in these sections. Surely they couldn't have been sold out by that point? Also, very poor customer service as received the SSC email which contained a link to further ticket information (I.e instructions) after tickets went on sale.
  11. Should just contact SSC for advice
  12. As above, I'm with Virgin Media and had to disconnect phone from WiFi and use data to get train tickets via Deutsche Bahn.

    New jersey

I'm sure they changed the rules for the anniversary top due to non-members using the code when the top was launched. The only way to get the SSC discount on this top was to purchase in store and provide the SSC membership card.
  14. Was hoping for a more glamorous fixture but it will give us a chance to try out or bed in formations/tactics. Should be a decent atmosphere as the Irish fans made a lot of noise on their last visit to Hampden.
  15. @TA-West Germany Brilliant, much appreciated. Booked hotel, buzzing and looking forward to it
  16. @TA-West Germany Flying Manchester to Frankfurt. Is it easy to get train from Frankfurt to Cologne? Also, looking to stay in GE Braunsfeld/GE Ehrenfeld area of city. Is this a decent area? Thanks
  17. SSC sent my sons access codes to an old email address I had when I first joined the SSC, despite assurances that I would receive these to my email address linked to my SSC account. By the time it was sorted and manual access codes sent to both sons email addresses I got 3 x Cat 1 for Switzerland.
  18. Shambles. I've got code for myself sent to my email. Neither of my sons gave codes or email from SSC
  19. Again it's not clear as sales schedule for 11 pointers would begin 12pm tomorrow but email shows:- Tickets are available as per the sales schedule. PLEASE NOTE: You can only use your codes from 12pm today.
  20. I've got 11 points and received email with 3 x access codes (one for each match). My two sons also have 11 points but no emails received. I emailed SSC yesterday as I wasnt convinced the email set up will work and was advised that:- If you share an email address with another member, the codes will go to the one email address. The email will indicate which Access Codes belong to which supporter.
  21. McGregor stood out tonight and tried to take the game by the scruff of the neck, always wanting to get on the ball as well as directing others. McGinn got stuck in mainly in the first half and Patterson looked good coming out of defence. Apart from that there were few positives. The game had friendly vibes about it and a missed opportunity for a few to stake a claim.
  22. Adams doesn't get the credit he deserves. Usually up front on his own against 2 or 3 defenders. Holds ball up well to get others involved and makes runs off the ball to drag defenders around. More mobile than Dykes who does a similar job. Deservedly they are our top two when it comes to playing up front and they suit our style and personnel.

    Disgrace

Michael Stewart was bang on when commentating on the way the Georgians were falling over. I recall he said that one of their players was running around just after he went down like he had a career threatening injury and also they were rolling about as if they were playing on concrete. Totally summed it up. UEFA also need to have a serious look at the standard of the officials as we've suffered more than once with some very poor referees in this campaign.
  24. Brilliant. What a summary! Restored pride, built a club mentality instilled belief and resilience. Thanks Steve and the squad!
