  1. Just been on a week round Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. Some tremendous golf courses in great condition at winter prices, Burnham and Berrow a bit expensive at £60 but a very good championship course. Played St Mellion Nicklaus course at £20. Superb value for a course that used to host the European tour. Every single hole excellent - outstanding course and a top quality hotel to stay at for a great price(probably way more expensive in summer). But my absolute favourite was Perranporth - fabulous links course - stunning views -again every hole an absolute cracker - and such a friendly place to play at.
  2. Im 58..happily divorced. I work nights so plenty of time during the day. I do a week round Scotland in June playing about 13 or 14 courses then do Wsles as well.just stayng in different hotels and a couple of courses a day. I go away for long weekends to different places in England. Ive done 460 courses now in 4 years . Hopefully make another 100 next year then after that will be too difficult with the distances. Thinking of doing a retrospective blog with the pics.golf course reviews and reviews of different pub crawls in various towns. Next years Scotland trip is Dundee Aberdeen..Elgin..Inverness..Aviemore and Pitlochry. Wales is my fav place for golf .not as many courses but most sre really good.
  3. Nice one mate. See if you can catch my total - 137 courses so far this year including 2 months with no golf due to going to Moscow and Cyprus for the games then being ill in between and weather being rubbish. Just done a week in Norfolk - played at Newark on way down. Highlight was Royal West Norfolk at Brancaster - a sensational course which becomes an island if there is a high tide. No cheap at £70 quid in winter = plus I had to go to Secretary's office for permission to play. Once permitted the place is very friendly - amazing place to play.
  4. I wouldnae pay 20 quid for him never mind 20 million. Seen far better players in the juniors than him. He is just pure pish.
  5. Got to go back to my favourite years sgo on here. I think my burd is havin an affair. Gavin from Autoglass came round to insert some resin intae her crack. Shes no even got a fuckin motor.
  6. Travelling to new places for me. Last 3 years Ive done a week round Scotland and a week round Wales Billy Nomates - playing golf during the day and checking out the pubs at night. Scenery fantastic - particularly the North Coast 500 and views from golf courses across the Firth of Clyde to the likes of Rothesay and Dunoon. In Wales around the Menai Straits and the friendliness of the folk in brilliant towns like Caernarfon Conwy and Tenby. Travelling to Scotland games anywhere - the camaraderie amongst our supporters - meeting old friends and new - plus being part of new places like Nur Sultan(Astana) , Moscow , Tirana , Tbilisi and experiencing the friendliness of the locals instead of the reputation put about the UK media.
  7. Fucking well bad enough that McDonalds straws for the milkshakes are minging. Fortunately carry my own stock of plastic straws in the motor. If they make the big mac non meat then they can fuck off. And hands off oor pies as well. Veganism ..pretentious shyte.
  8. I think that's going to happen anyway. For instance what happens if EU give extension to 31st Jan. Does parliament do fook all and wait to see if it can be extended beyond 31st Jan. I'm at a loss but think the eventuality will be a Tory majority and coming out with no deal. Possibly better doing a proper discussion of the withdrawal bill and sticking amendments into it - then Johnson has to withdraw it ? Who knows what's gonna happen.
  9. This SNP/Lib Dem proposed bill puzzled me at first and on first glance looks them just playing the same silly games as the Tories. Ian Blackford looking a bit silly as the other night he was waffling about a winter election being no good with the cold and dark nights in Scotland. However it seems as if a new bill with 9th December would prevent the EU withdrawal bill being discussed/passed before an election. Then if tomorrows Tory vote is vetoed , the Tories might look a bit silly themselves rejecting a general election. All a wee bit of silly political games. But in the end the Tories will probs have a landslide in a GE with all the racist, xenophobic thick coonts down here just saying "I just want it done" - no matter how decimated their country will be in terms of jobs after Brexit. Specially all these silly fuckers in Sunderland when NIssan moves across the English Channel.
  10. Totally agree. Turning it into a complete joke. If it was the woeld cup at football .match just gets played somewhere else.
  11. Corden would be high on the list - tops probs Beckham , Clare Balding, Vanessa Feltz , Bojo, John Motson, Glenn Hoddle, the cast of the Made in Chelsea and the Only Way is Essex -especially that big fat ugly munter - in fact anyone from Essex full stop.
  12. I'm still convinced that the postal vote in the 2014 referendum was tampered with. When David Cameron admits to having tapped up the Queen - who is to know what other underhand means he utilised or what lengths he went to.
  13. Fantastic training for the police cadets though ..having to stand there and listen to that gobshyte for ages ..they should be able to cope with anything after that.
  14. Completely disagree. If they give Johnson a way out of his dilemma it would be disastrous for the SNP. Would see the revival of Scottish Labour.
  15. I thought his performance in Parliament was bad but jeez his address to the nation from the police training centre in Wakefield was even worse. It is unbelievable that huge swathes of England support this buffoon.
  16. I work at night so been watching the daytime shenanigans with interest this week - sky news more entertaining but inch of salt. If I want a proper version of the news its Channel 4 for me .
  17. Its really pissing me off watching the BBC and Sky News persisting with querying why the opposition don't want an election till after end of October. Its blatantly fucking obvious its a desperate Tory game and any opposition would be absolutely mental to vote for it just now. Far more fun just watching Johnson stew. But a bit more sinister seeing the media trying to assist the Tories as much as possible.
  18. No sign of Jeremy Hunt these days - doesn't seem to be doing any interviews keeping a low profile. I actually think Boris will resign rather than ask the EU for an extension.
  19. BBC now becoming desperate. Trying to sow a seed of doubt that the SNP may break with the other opposition parties and go for an early election i.e giving Johnson a way out of his own mess. Why on earth would this ever be the case - the main aim is to avoid no-deal Brexit - BBC again bidding to their master's tune.
  20. That's what annoys me - I always have to login to find out my points total. I don't agree with the new system anyway - at least with the old system you always knew where you stood - nearly got to a ten pointer but had to settle for 9.
  21. Johnsons QT performance waa the worst Ive ever seen from any Prime Minister or Leader of the Opposition. Even Corbyn ran rings round him. He answered nothing .came out with some cringeworthy insults. He may be able to read a speech by his advisor but hes absolutely embarrasing when having to come out with his own retorts. Absolute fucking cretin..yet still loved by the English racist xenophobes.
  22. I hate this points system as I dont go to many home games. Can never remember now how many points Ive got.
