I’m watching a lot of the free to view , which is all of it. today has been cracking. The Georgia v Portugal was a rare draw with both teams missing kicks in the last few minutes to win outright. Wonderfully contested with a lot of supporters of especially Portugal enjoying it. this South Africa v a United Ireland side is great . I think this Ireland side will win the tournament. Obvs , only if they win this . Are there other international sports teams that include a sovereign nation state AND a bit of another sovereign nation state? Or is it like the football and we’re a bit special in the United Kingdom and Ireland!

I remember a time a few years ago when I had a ticket and got in in a matter of maybe ten seconds. Recently I have been telt by the helpless helpline at the SSC that I should print out my own ticket and or use my device at the turnpike. After explaining that I did not possess a printer or device I was helpfully telt/ asked if there was anything else they could help me with. Bless

Have never feared them . Though always know plenty do and always will. that was a painful watch . We didn’t turn up but I didn’t think we were out of it at half time. They certainly didn’t look world beaters. had to laugh at harry the Heid contribution and then Bellingham orchestrated the best bit of the game . unsuprisingley the most sensible line I’ve heard since the game came from Coach Clarke in saying sometimes you have to take your medicine. if we’d played well and taken a hammering I would be worried. As things stand I don’t think we will underperform the next time . Maybe in Germany next summer.

Embdy about Glasgow now? I’ve been itching for kick off since this morning. Don’t remember last time I was this eager . Attended three of the ones in the last ten years but even knowing this means nowt .

Official FAs allocations aside I would imagine Scotland supporters will be acquiring at least half the tickets for our group games . if Germany is still functional next summer I think we’ll be there with tens of thousands. The German has quite a reputation for running things efficiently.
