  1. I'm going to put this here for more to moan about :P. "We are due a win against this lot imho!"
  2. I'm not going to moan about who's in the squad bar Jon McLaughlin, the lad has conceded EIGHT GOALS in TWO MATCHES ffs but he was never getting on the match field anyway as both Gordon and Kelly are way ahead of him I'm the pecking order. Regarding defence, I think Steve us waiting for friendlies or next Nations League (where he gradually picks new caps in one or 2 squads like he did with Ross Stewart and Jake Brown) so I hope that players like Dominic Hyam are still in his thoughts. And Regarding the Strikers, I have one question, what has happened regarding Sam Gallagher and Karlan Grant, have they been asked about their feelings on pledging allegiance to us because I recall an article earlier this year which basically stated that Sam was committed and on the verge of a call up yet nothing has happened since?
  3. Ah OK, I apologise for that wee error ;). Well that means that Patterson/O'Donnell will be vying for the RB slot, possibly with Aaron Hickey as 3rd choice. LB will be Robertson/Tierney/Taylor vying for the one slot.
  4. First things first in answer to the thread question, we STICK with Clarke and fans can suck it up (he isn't going anywhere thankfully). I admit he got it totally wrong last Monday by picking a team that was aimed at getting a point rather than going attacking then sitting back if we scored. Hopefully he has learnt lessons from this tournament though and we start seeing more attack minded teams/formations for the September qualifying campaign. I think it's safe to say that David Marshall and Craig Gordon won't be around for much longer so we will need to look at the GK position soon, most likely to be McCrorie because McLaughlin isn't getting matches at Rangers. EE could still nab Angus Gunn, especially if he grows increasingly frustrated at being snubbed by England, but that's unlikely imho. I think its time that we also look for another RB to put pressure on O'Donnell, preferably Aaron Hickey but maybe there are other contenders so feel free to let me know your opinions on that. Nathan Patterson to be second LB behind Andy Robertson. We also need to find a prolific goalscorer. I like Che Adams and Lyndon Dykes but they just don't score enough. Kevin Nisbet may deserve a lengthy run in the team instead of coming off the bench. Leigh Griffiths won't play for us ever again imho and Shankland doesn't score enough, he had a poor season with Utd last season too hence his omission from the squad altogether. Is it worth capping Karlan Grant perhaps or are there players ready to step up from the under 21s (strikers)? Feel free to post your opinions but do not criticise me or personally attack me lol.
  5. Has anyone heard anything about the players that are eligible for us, have any talks taken place with them and Steve Clarke and/or the SFA? I know that the French GK (Bobby Allain) has asked his agent to contact the SFA to let them know of his eligibility but what is the story regarding Todd Kane, Ryan Fredericks, Che Adams, Harvey Barnes, Karlan Grant and Sam Gallagher 🤔?
  6. Seeing as nothing has been heard or announced etc in the last while, I am wondering what the latest is on the possible new players that are eligible for Scotland (Jed Steer, Maxwell of Hibs, Todd Kane, Steven Caulker, Sam Gallagher, Harvey Barnes, Che Adams and Karlan Grant). I am not saying that I want them to switch allegiance etc, I am just wondering what is happening regarding them, so go easy with the criticism lol.
  7. https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/steve-clarke-confirms-former-hearts-keeper-to-start-for-scotland-against-san-marino-1-5022519. Apology please for being a dick!!?
  8. Saw on Twitter that Jon McLaughlin is in goal tomorrow :O.
  9. For this one I'd go 4-4-2. Marshall O'Donnell, Gallagher, Devlin, Robertson Forrest, Fleck, McTominay, Snodgrass Christie Shankland . I was going to put McLaughlin in ahead of Marshall but thought that would be harsh on Marshall who, apart from tonight, has been excellent for us. Liam Palmer and Charlie Mulgrew need dropped so I put in SOD and Gallagher. I suspect Burke is out injured so it's Shankland to start, with Christie just behind him in a 4-4-1-1 formation.
  10. I really hope that Steve Clarke has a change of heart regarding not experimenting in the next double header because young guys such as David Turnbull, Lewis Ferguson, Mikey Johnston, Billy Gilmour, Declan Gallagher, Fraser Hornby and Glenn Mid deserve a chance to prove that they are better than pish like Charlie Mulgrew, Liam Palmer, Oliver McBurnie and anyone else who is not international class. I also hope that SFA members are looking into whether Jed Steer, Todd Kane or Karlan Grant are committed to representing us.
  11. He needs time ffs, look at Sir Alex and Michael O'Neill when they took over, both had pretty poo starts, in fact, SAF was very close to the sack. Changing managers after every campaign is stupid, it changes nothing. Its the players that need dropped, some completely dropped. However, if we don't qualify, I reckon he will resign.
