I’ve no idea, as I said I’d rather keep politics, morals and ethics out of sport as much as possible. I get them rammed down my throat constantly as it is, I’d like to watch football without “preacher” giving me a sermon

I take it you’re not a Rangers fan then?

I think an Austria-Denmark draw is better. I don’t accept Denmark will run away with it. If we have Gilmour and maybe Patterson integrated into the team and play at our best I don’t think it is beyond us to get 4 or 6 points off them. Of course that seems miles off after the Israel horror show, but that is why I’m still furious about it as we sold ourself short. If we play at our absolute best we can beat the teams in our group. That is no more than a country such as Wales would expect so we should be no different. We’ve made a complete arse of it so far, but that doesn’t mean it should continue.

    😆

What really bothers me is we still have to play them away. For years I had this recurring nightmare of wheezing up the hill to Toftir Stadium on a damp September evening and last night that awful dream returned. At the top we jostled impatiently at the slow turnstiles moaning that we would miss the first goal. Actually we did miss it but luckily just as we got inside Jakub Borg repeated the trick of skinning Stephen Crainey and laying it on for John Petersen to score number two. 12 minutes gone and life expectations, much less football ones, would never be the same again. Astonishingly our star strike force (Kevin Kyle and Scott Dobie) failed to rip new ones for the islanders and we limped back to Torshavn with a scarcely deserved draw. The 36 hour wake/celebration with new found friends didn’t quite camouflage the shame and sheer horror of the performance. I just want a win, any win, and not to draw the Faroes in another tournament. Whale meat never again..

I see the endless aliases never end for the big man. 😄

He was out of contract anyway, seemingly one more appearance would automatically trigger an extension, so this makes sense for everyone. He seemed destined to join Cove Rangers, due to his other job, but that doesn’t seem the case anymore.

Nae chance such a huge figure from the carry on with him and Tonev was going to be able to work with him.

Getting into a debate here which is gd if can be backed up. for my part didn't and dont want clarke.not happy with performances as I believe we have good players. And also feel gilmour gauld and turnbull should be in team. I dont accept in your words utter bollocks but your words dont add up.

Let's see Clarkes early games in charge we got pumped by Belgium 4-0 and 3-0 Russia 4-0 and 2-1. Before that pumped in Kazakhstan 4-0 and struggled against san Marino. The team Belgium had at that time was nearly I'd say best in world and we were very poor. Now since then we have played 13 games and only lost twice both 1-0 away to israel and Slovakia. We have beaten Czech twice.slovakia and cyprus Kazakhstan.san Marino. And drawn with serbia austria and israel 3 times. So I'd say your belief that we are not better than 2 years ago and denmark will hammer us 6 is to quote yourself "bollocks"

Its football were talking about or trying to and your spouting shite like you are in pub after 10 pints.

    Away and do some research.

Again, you claimed that the chance of Denmark crucifying us is “pure fiction”. Those were your words. I admire your optimism. Optimism which more often than not is just stupidity.

It’s within the realms of possibility that I will win the lottery next week, and Dundee will win the Champions League in two years time.

Id fancy those odds better than us finishing second.

It’s within the realms of possiblity that you will find employment soon you worksh........ nah, who the fuck am I trying to kid? 😄

We are loads better than we were 2 years ago when best team in world only beat us 4 so for you to say 1 we are worse now and denmark will score 6 is imo the views of someone on the crack pipe.

Utter bollocks. We are no better than 2 years ago. You seem to be of the belief that Denmark(one of the best sides in World fitba’ right now) are somehow on a par with us. For you to say that there’s not a chance of them doing us big time is just stupidity and unbelievable naeivity. You are a football association’s dream fan. One who continues to accept bollocks performances.

Shut up that is pure fiction. If you cant be constructive why comment?

Ah, so when we are horseshite we are still only allowed to say nice things? Waken up FFS. If you can’t see how poor we are just now and somehow think that Denmark battering us is ‘fiction’ then you need to lay down that crack pipe.

Well said. The number of fainthearts on here is depressing. We don't have Russia or Belgium in our section and I don't see why we can't go to Denmark and win - maybe with a goal from a set piece or something but we have shown we can defend. Pressure will all be on Denmark; is it really more difficult than going to Serbia and having to win?

Denmark will absolutely crucify us. It’ll be going on half a dozen.

Depends how crowds reintroduced will pan out.

I have a feeling they may do a longer period of time saying no away fans especially for  international games.

Hopefully I'm wrong, realistically nobody has a clue and it's all speculation. If they don't have a clue what's happening in June then September's least of worries at minute.

Seeing as it’s the Denmark thread for September I thought it was worth a mention. Given it’s the Danes at the front of the queue with it’s rollout. I’ve written the games off in June anyway.

Clarke is a Craigie Broon throwback for me. Pragmatic till the end. He's a realist, not a dreamer. Until we embrace a massive shake up from top to bottom he's pretty much all we've got 😔

We don’t need to continually go for one of our own though. I want an exciting foreign boss capable of changing our system up a bit.

Really no excuses if we can’t have a capacity crowd at the Euro’s while the vast majority of countries across Europe are letting fans back in.

Capacity crowd in June? I’ll have some of what you are smoking. 😄

That a horrible side effect from what I’ve seen and heard.

Surprised Melatonin would cause it though since it’s supposed to be “natural”

I don’t suffer from a lack of sleep but She does. She bought a pack of Melanonin and She’s forever trying to pump all sorts of pish vitamin pills into me. I gave in and bashed one of these down a few weeks ago before bed. Absolutely brutal restless legs. I could not relax for hours. I have had the same thing before from allergy pills.
