One thing I though of during the match was our crossing has to be better, too often it found an opposite player and failed to beat the first man. Though we were decent value for a draw at least in both games

I'd expect a few changes, with Dykes being suspended and a couple of others with minimal injuries and probably tiredness. Do we go with McBurnie up top or is their 70 mins in Griffiths before we look at a change. Do we go with Burke purely to run the back line ragged? If Robertson misses out do we play Tierney at LB or go with Greg Taylor and keep Tierney at LCB in a perhaps settled back 3 with Gallagher and McTominay? Can Gallagher produce another display like he did for 120 mins and remain fit enough to last 90 mins. Does Armstrong start alongside Christie and McGregor or does McGinn retain his place despite injury fears. Marshall, O'Donnell, Jack, and McTominay all start this game without question and they've all put in big performances which have answered most of their critics. Consistency is key with a settled squad and winning mentality which can only breed confidence going into games. Looking forward to seeing the lineups and hopefully another win on Sunday. Stevie Clarke has done a fantastic job and certainly answered a few boo boys

I must say that I've been impressed with Considine and Gallagher. Both players looked really confident, showed zero nerves and had about 80 caps between them. All players really have dug in hard in the last 3 games and ground out good results. Winning breeds confidence going into big games. To think we have been without 6 or 7 first team players and to qualify for a play off final then took 6 points out of 6 is really something. Hats off to the team, manager and backroom staff A+

I know every player should be praised but a special mention to Hornby. All time scorer for the U21s and some great touches and link up play throughout this campaign. Hopefully a few goals in France during the season too

Trying to work out what's the best scenario just now. Croatia currently beating Greece 1-0 which will send them top of group. If Scotland beat San Marino then we are too with two games left Vs Croatia and Greece. If Greece lose and the Czechs win are they out? If Croatia draw and we win we will be 3 points better off but Greece will still be in it.

Another professional performance tonight. Great delivery from O'Donnell and a great finish from Dykes. The back line again frustrating the away side. Gallagher has certainly played his part in the last 2 games with different partnerships. Another clean sheet and another win. Onwards we go

That was a big performance from the u21 side tonight. A very stubborn defence who cleared their lines all night was pleasing to see. Really enjoyed the team performance who dug in deep and delivered.

Yeah I think you might be right. Although McCrorie is 22 and will no longer be eligible for the U21s after the qualifiers

McCrorie called up to senior squad for the game Vs Slovakia. A very good player, Rangers will regret selling him

Special shout-out to Gallagher who was probably not going to play a single minute. Cooper and Gallagher were both excellent given the circumstances. Big improvement needed for the game Vs Serbia but hopefully we have a fully fit squad to pick from including Griffiths

If we are playing a back 3 with 2 wing backs then I would play Burke as the rwb. Ideally I'd play him there in a friendly before a play off but beggars can't be choosers

Personally I'd play a 541 which goes into a 352 or a 3511. McTominay is never a centre half, so that leaves us with a few options. Tierney, McKenna, Findlay, Cooper and Gallagher. However this is a massive season for the likes of Grant Hanley, Tom McIntyre, Michael Rose, Liam Lindsay, and Bates. All 5 should be playing first team football this season at a half decent level, and hopefully go onto bigger and better things. Ross McCrorie is versatile either at mid, RB or CB and is already earning rave reviews at Aberdeen and I would expect him to be in the full squad at the turn of the year.

We could really do with a few friendly games, or even a B team selection. The last one I think I can remember is under Berti against Germany?!
