  1. Aye...that's it My 12 year old Daughter is in the supporters club and is going to Germany with me but she'd like to meet some of the players she's watched on TV.... same as a wee kid would want to meet messi or Ronaldo... Was just wondering
  2. Anyone know where England are staying and training before Tues nt game
  3. No. You need to activate it by 1st June but there is then a longer window before you have to use it. You can activate it without using it
  4. Just because we are pot 3 doesn't mean we will be A3/B3/C3, etc
  5. 86 squad was full of players who played in European Cup finals with aberdeen, liverpool,Everton and Dundee United. The remaining players were with old firm or Barcelona (stevie archibald). Imagine saying that now.
  6. We were supposed to be in between 2.30-3 and entered about half 3. It was still too early. Raging I got my 4 capri sun's taken off me
  7. Anyone know anything about exiting after the game. Is this in slots. I have tickets for Croatia v Czech Republic at hampden but want to be home for Scotland game
  8. Newbie? I've been in the supporters club since 1998. I think i had to change my log in details for the TAMB a while ago
  9. It was quicker than typing England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland...oops too late
  10. Ha ha...thats not what i meant. I have tickets for last 16. I hope we qualify for the tournament.
  11. One of the best games i ever seen at Hampden was the Seville v Espanyol UEFA Cup Final. I may enjoy the football more if we're not there but it would be kind of painful, especially if all the other home countries get there
  12. I've got the middle group game and the last 16 game.....fingers crossed we get there
  13. Cheers, i was asking as i've managed to get some tickets for the finals. IF WE QUALIFY, it would be unfortunate if the one group game i've got at Hampden coincided with Scotland v England at Wembley
  14. IF we qualify... I'm sure i read somewhere on here that Scotland v England (Group D) would be played at Wembley? How's that? I just read on the UEFA website that if both host teams in a group qualify then there is a draw to see who plays at home when the play each other. I know i'm getting WAY ahead of myself...just asking
  15. Just read an article on Jurgen Klopp there in The Players Tribune. He noted at the end that he has joined the Common Goal movement, where players and managers donate 1% of their wage to the less fortunate. I know than Juan Mata was one of the first high profile contributors. When looking at the Common Goal website, 2 things struck me; 1. Of the 4 scottish players contributing, 3 are female. 2. Who is Robbie Crawford, playing for IFK Mariehamn?
  16. 100% agree. It was an enjoyable experience (again from the tickets/seating issue - surely they knew there was going to be between 15-20k). My girls (8 and 17) who both go to the guys games loved it, as did my nephews from Wales (6 & 9). I felt like i could actually watch the game and enjoy the technique on display. A nice night helped. The ball was played along the ground, showed patience, no punts from the back, ball was always in play because of the shorter more accurate passing. All a marked difference from the guys as was the lack of steamers and swearing.
  17. Enjoying the podcasts mate, downloaded them all now and listening in car for work commute. I was reliving the horror show that was Belgium at Hampden under Craig Brown this morning...still remember the deathly silence at the end of that game. I hadn't appreciated it was so early in the qualifying campaign and i hadn't heard the story about Archie Knox and the runner. Suggestions for future ones Christian Dailly, Gary Nasmyth and Faddy and as suggested above, McCoist. Also, Jim Leighton was my hero growing up and he had plenty of ups and downs to talk about with Scotland.
  18. i have a scotland playlist on spotify. No idea how easy it is to copy or find but some folk have followed it so it must be possible. My name is brian1877
