  1. I wouldn't laugh at that. It's just a really weird way to go about forming opinions. Openly admitting you don't have all the data, yet presenting a conclusion. He's also scored 4 goals in his last 4 Scotland matches.
  2. I wasn't joking. If I was, I'd have said there's two ducks flying over Belfast, and ones goes "quack quack" and the other goes "Mate, I'm going as quack as I can". Only really works of you say it out loud in a Northern Irish accent though. But I guess you might be right? People admiring two of the currently most lauded midfielders in the EPL is laughable. It's the way you tell them.
  3. Haha yeah, you've got to put yourself in their boots. They would LOVE Oli McBurnie, even if he was sagging them off.
  4. Once we get a bit more organised and get some confidence back I really do think McTominay and McGinn will be a midfield pairing other countries are jealous of.
  5. Hahaha watch out! McBurnie took a dig at Scotland and now he's persona non grata around here.
  6. KT starting in the first game in the EPL today. Good luck to him, its going to be so tough with that absolute shambles of a defence next to him!
  7. Where was Christie today? Is he injured?
  8. I see what you're getting at, but I'm still not sure I agree. What has Griffiths done for us recently to suggest he's irreplaceable? I really wish he could get back to full fitness and show us some of that old magic, but until then we have a bunch of other strikers who could easily replace him in his current form. Meanwhile McGinn is lighting-up one of the best leagues in world football. That's hard to replace.
  9. It's petty funny that Griffiths has more than double the votes that McGinn. I like Griffiths, and I really hope he makes it back to full fitness. Right now, there is no comparison between. McGinn is a must start, and Griffiths is an unlikely call-up.
  10. It's a weird one because I would say both Robbo and KT are irreplaceable, even though they could quite literally replace each other. Bit of a paradox but hey.
  11. Scotland top or joint top of all their current qualify groups at 17s, 19s, and 21s. Really hope this is an indication of what is to come for the senior squad.
  12. Kelly Hickey McKenna Tierney Robbo Jack McTominay Christie McGinn Fraser Griffiths
  13. Slap a Scotland badge on this, change the red trim to pink, and I would snap that up immediately!
  14. To be fair to him Edwards was a massive handful all night, and KT did a good job of stifling him the majority of the time. Kolasinac would have been in more trouble than he was with the that Eastern European gang recently!
  15. I don't want him called up, but i just wanted to mention he's started in 8 out of the last 10 games for them. I'd call that getting in the team.
  16. Can see it possibly being a frustrating draw in Cyprus. Can't see anything other than a win at home v Kazakhstan.
  17. This is a pure shocker. It looks like something Jimmy Savile would wear on Paddy's Day. The shiny, vertical stripes are manky, and the shoulder pads are an absolute non-sequitur. I hope the Scotland top is 1000% more classy than this monstrosity.
  18. Studies show that the brevity enforced by Twitter leads to an increase in thoughtful vocabulary - https://www.huffpost.com/entry/twitter-language-book_n_5786556
  19. It will all die down when he scores the winner in the play-off final.
  20. Sounds like he's used to playing behind a terrible defense then? Also, it's only 7 goals in the last 3 games.
  21. Solid selection. I'd probably call up Liam Kelly rather than one of the other keepers now he's starting for QPR. Jack is definitely worth calling up. McBurnie might be the worst, but so are our striking options...
  22. I think if you watch a little closer you'll see he's a lot better defensively than you give him credit for. He stands people up well, can time tackles, and his reading of when to cover the gaps left by other defenders is impeccable.
