I spent most of yesterday marking student essays and had to remind many of them to add references to their statements, especially if they are as unfounded as this one. Do you have a reference here? Also, the players mentioned are all still young. That's one of the most exciting things about it. You seem to think that they have been around for the last two decades and have failed along with Scotland in that time, but they were not even in primary school until after France '98. Well the numbers do add up for this season at least. Half of our eligible teams are still in Europe and have only lost 2 of their combined 22 matches so far.

Interesting about Robbo. I thought I heard his name a lot on the radio commentary, and just watched MOTD and he was in loads of the highlights. Maybe he just found his way into a few of the bigger moments? Nothing compares to being at the game and seeing the full story.

I'll miss him. I think a lot of Scotland fans feel the same. Some have shorter memories though.

I think that's harsh on McGinn. Also, looking at how quickly those players have come out of the woodwork in the last 4 years I'm super hopeful that in the next 4 years it could happen with some centre backs and strikers too.
