Went down to the Azteca from the Historical District on the morning of the game. Only took 9 stops on the 2 Metro and then about another 8 stops on the Tren Legaro on my own. Great experience and bought 2 tickets from a "tout" for $2000 pesos (£80) for tickets valued at $500. Bassa then had the cheek to ask me for his commission of $300 pesos on top. Told him where to go. Still worth every Peso!

Was on bus 6 there and back. Nobody offered us any refreshments! 😀

Still in Cancun til Tuesday. Been great and loved every minute. 😎

I would really like to thank all those involved from WESTA for their organisational skills for the swift and secure run to and from the match. The 4 of us: Deek, Yvonne, Susan and myself (Eddie) were really impressed by the security arrangements involving the 500 or more local police who escorted us and met us on arrival at the Estadio Azteca. Still over here just now in Cancun and if I could post videos I would. When I get back, I'll load them to YouTube and post the links. Thanks again.

My mate has tickets from the TATC that are for Section 427, but the info from Sporran in the this post shows Section 430 for Scotland. Anyone confirm if the y are both correct? Still looking for 2 tickets for the Mexico game if anyone can help! Meant to say many thanks for the guide.

I tried for tickets via Ticketmaster.mx and although they let me put them in my basket, they wouldn't sell them to me in the end. Looks like your card had to have a Mexico address, so I put in the hotel one, but still wouldn't complete the sale. On a slightly different note, my mate has tickets from the TATC that are for Section 427, but the info from Sporran in the other post shows Section 430 for Scotland. Sounds like a plan. We're staying in the Flamingo Resort Hotel in the Zone, so we'll see what happens. 😀
