I can't see him coming back to Scotland soon. He seems to love it in Portugal and Braga seems like a nice fit. I just hope he joins a club which allows him to play his game and play every week.

I listened on the radio and they were full of praise. He's really highly regarded and still only 18. Wonder if he'll be tempted away soon? Not saying he'll make it but there's a group of promising centre backs coming through which is such a relief.

Well, it could work out really well. However, Initial reaction is that this is a real disappointment.

Would be a great move. They are fourth in the league. The report I read suggested that were waiting for the summer but injuries have meant they are moving now.

Some interesting possibilities/rumours today. Nisbet and Porteous linked to English Championship. Interesting to see clubs sniffing round Scottish players which I think is an indication that Scottish football's reputation is improving.

Syecosse did. Not sure if it's totally agreed but joining Coventry. I think Ross were hoping to keep him on loan but Cov have just lost a player and want him straight away. Stands a good chance of getting games.

Be interesting to see how that plays out for Billy. Might end chances of a loan whilst the new manager assesses.

Being reported that Middleton going to St Johnstone on loan. Really hope so.

You're right. We are always looking into the future hoping and a tiny fraction ever really make it. That said, the difference is that the current squad level is ok and if any of these are better than what we already have it will drive up our standards. Thanks for all the responses. It wasn't an exhaustive list, just those that intrigued me when I read about them.

You have to hope that being 60 points clear Patterson will get some game time now. I just wonder if his future lies elsewhere because you can't imagine Tavernier going anywhere.

Aiden Fitzpatrick (loan from Norwich) scored for QotS yesterday with Mebude (loan from Rangers) coming off the bench. Kieron Bowie s scored two for Fulham's U18s.

Not sure why there's the laugh emoji. I'm really fascinated by the reports of Hendry's time in Belgium. I know Celtic fans weren't impressed but is there any chance he matured/found his way? I really don't want to start another discussion comparing leagues but I have an open mind.

If you like. I wouldn't myself as, whilst he could change, he's currently an england player. Anderson is currently a Scotland player. Just my own criteria really.

If he came on, not just a temporary appearance on the bench, that makes him the 20th Scot in the EPL by my reckoning. There's been a steady increase. And yes it does include those retired.

Has anyone seen much of Jack Hamilton at Livi? He scored 7 goals in 9 at East Fife. Sounds a prospect.

I agree. It doesn't matter if we play 4 or 3 at the back we still have a RB or RWB problem. But, saying that, it is our best option at the minute and allows SOD to go forward. An excellent RB emerging may allow us to return to a back 4 and McTominay back into midfield

Not a bad day for Scots in the FA cup. Goals for McTominay, McLean, Paterson and Burke. Assists for Fleck, Bannan and Tierney. Tierney getting rave reviews. Anderson coming on for Newcastle. Also, Hendry scored for Oostende in their 3-2 win.

Clearly a struggling team but it's quite an ascent for him. Really hope he can make an impression.
