  1. Recently moved to Toronto. Any TA over this neck of the woods that have suggestions on how best to watch the game? Still working, albeit from home, so pub out of the question unfortunately. Cheers in advance
  2. For anyone looking for a link to watch live: https://www.uefa.tv/video/live/209739 I had SkySports YouTube channel up but they were having audio issues. Above link works fine & live!
  3. 4pm UK, sorry. Just confirmed via a quick search.
  4. It's at 4pm in Zurich, so 3pm here in the UK. I don't think it's on TV but live streamed online by FIFA, I believe. I'm assuming - perhaps wrongly - that it will be streamed via their YouTube channel; https://www.youtube.com/fifa/featured
  5. I’ve been ‘realistic’ since my first trip to Hampden 20 years ago. I’m 29 and have spent the better part of the past 20 years being told about the ‘glory days’, before my time, and how the same heights will not be reached again. I’m fully embracing the excitement, anticipation and, dare I say it, allowing myself to dream a little. Doom merchants are exhausting.
  6. Appreciate lots of people are looking but if anyone has a spare ticket or ideally two then I’ll take them off your hands. I’ve got tickets already but posting on behalf of a friend in the off chance anyone is selling Cheers
  7. Aye, I have pubs booked. Was asking out of curiosity really.
  8. Who's planning to head to Hyde Park during the day on Friday? Seen lots of threads talking about Leic Sq and Hyde Park as an alternative to Trafalgar and unsure where the majority are planning to go to be honest. Pishing rain forecast, by the way. So keep your beer boxes for a hat.
  9. Showing 90% chance of rain down here for Fri-Sun. It's been unreal weather down here last week or so and as I type this, it's sunny and 25 degrees. Couldn't make it up 😂 Seems to be that Hyde Park has become the new Trafalgar Sq, at least for this trip. Depends where you're staying, but if you are heading for Hyde Pk then stock up on drink as the nearest shops are a bit of a walk away. There are toilets in the park but it's 50p to enter (they take contactless cards).
  10. Beat me to it. I've walked past police several times while drinking a beer on sunny days down here and they don't bat an eyelid. If you're mooning in yer kilt with a bottle of Bucky going everywhere, that's a different story......
  11. Cheers for this - couple of pals of mine were struggling for somewhere to book for the game and managed to get a booking at Drayton for them. Appreciated.
  12. You mean your messages in this thread have been WITHOUT a drink in you?? 😂 Just taking the piss loon. Sure we will hear you all the way fae Canada on Jun 18!
  13. Replying to this to see what replies come through as had posted something similar a wee while ago. I'm London based and got folks booked to come down for it. We have a few pub bookings near the Strand but open to changing it if there's a makeshift TA epicentre of sorts to head for. Shame about Trafalgar but regardless of fan zone, it was never going to be as no-holds-barred as it usually is for obvious reasons. Covent Gdn not ideal and full of tourists/heavily patrolled so would prob be moved on rather quickly. Alternative would be taking drinks and doing something in Hyde Park or similar but nae sure. Certainly plan to make the most of it regardless as could be another 22 year before we qualify for something again....😄
  14. What pub have you booked for the game out of interest? Looking into booking something for me/others but cannae decide where.
  15. It's a while away yet, but, with restrictions on pubs and the likes in place until after the game against England, I'm curious to get an idea of what other supporters are doing on the day of the game? More specifically, in lieu of a free-for-all Trafalgar gathering and for the game itself? Appreciate lots of people will be cancelling their plans to travel down without a ticket, which makes sense. I live in London and have booked a few pubs for during the day (FYI for any travelling down, we are still subject to 2hr slots at most places down here until after June 21 so be strategic time wise with your bookings if this is your plan). As for the game, ideally looking to head somewhere with other Scotland fans to watch but no idea where, really? Guess England fans will be facing a similar problem given the small amount of tix that will be available for the game itself.
