  1. Saw this girl many years ago singing on the Royal Mile during the Edinburgh Fringe and have followed her and her band since. Might be a bit Celtic but I am sure Ramy won't mind😊
  2. Sam Allardyce been seen at Pittodrie. Looks like the sinking ship may be saved if Goodwin fails on Saturday.
  3. Have been watching Wednesday on Netflix and really enjoyed it so far.
  4. Just read Pele has passed away, one of the greatest players ever☹️
  5. Just read the remarks towards Ramy, always takes a few of them, not near funny.
  6. Aberdeen were absolutely dire, Celtic were always going to score at some point. Hope they have more of a go again Rangers.
  7. It was my grandfather who told me to try one but got to say what I remember it was alright. Must have been the Pittodrie bar or the Old Bobbin Mill as we used to go there before or after the football. Good times back in the early 80s.
  8. That what I got as a teenager in Aberdeen, when I asked for black & tan.
  9. Been down South a while but a couple of guys mentioned the other day they enjoyed it on a visit to Scotland many years ago. Do you still get it in the super markets in Scotland as I thought I read somewhere that Allow brewery had stopped making it. Could be wrong as it was a while ago?
  10. Japan missed a huge chance to progress against Costa Rica. Hard to believe after first round results.
  11. Credit to Iran after there opening match, have gave themselves every chance now.
  12. I just got in a few minutes after having the same problem.
  13. Watched a couple of episodes of 'You' on Netflix, not bad so far. I read the book years ago as well
  14. Was a regular at Pittodrie when Eric Black played. All round striker, great in the air, left or right foot which many players still can't do to this day. Also held the ball up well.
  15. Back in the 80s it was only the league winners who played in the then European Cup which was a straight knockout over two legs, now it is 4 teams from certain countries who then get a second bite of the cherry if they do not progress which of course makes the rich even richer. Absolute bollocks imo, but then I was brought up watching football in the 70s and 80s. What Celtic, Rangers and my own team Aberdeen achieved by winning European trophies was phenomenal and sadly will most likely never be repeated because of the greed that has taken over. I cannot remember the last time I watched a champions League match. The 70s and 80s was indeed a magical time for Scottish football, not just for the league and cups but our national team were qualifying for World Cups on a regular basis.
  16. I agree other teams have improved but we tatically we were awful last night and after the penalty miss we never looked like winning Might have followed the Irish a bit but after that so called celebrations that won't be happening.
  17. Really have gone backwards imo. They looked like a promising team a few years back and played and moved the ball alot better and quicker. I think Cuthbert is our most creative player but really needs to be played behind the striker to do any damage.
  18. Hoping for a good performance and a bit of luck.
  19. Is Tuesday game televised?
  20. To come back from the injury he had years back and be performing to such a level for years shows how good he is.
  21. Played very well, but would rather judge him after a few more games. Be interesting to see who comes in for him as Hibs will find it hard to hold on to him for long.
  22. I have always thought he had the potential and has really played well last few games along with other decent performances. Also comes up with the odd goal now and again. I remember he was unfairly blamed in a thread on here for the goal in the the Euros v Czech when it was clearly David Marshall fault.😅
