I said before VAR came in that we shouldn’t be throwing any more money at the refereeing fraternity until there was root and branch reform of the whole thing. The clubs should withdraw funding until that happens. We’d be cheaper paying foreign refs than supporting this lot any further!

Something Celtic fans have absolutely mastered.

Not bad at it yourself I see 🤔

No one is looking for moral high ground (well maybe Ramy is) but the way that fans of some other clubs have now sprung into full whataboutery mode on the huns behalf is quite the thing.

So the Celtic fans throwing bottles at Steven Gerrard after he scored a penalty in a charity match a year ago was just made up ?

There is no fucking false equivalence which is the point i was trying to make in my post

And as for "incapable of providing a secure environment" are you for real ?

As long as there is a Rangers and Celtic these things will happen

There are times when one side will be worse than the other but they will take turns at it

And this was 2 years ago when away fans were still allowed

If you can’t see the difference between a few arseholes that populate every support and what are clearly major security issues inside Ibrox then I can’t help you. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Remember the bottles and coins that were aimed into Celtic dugout didn’t come from the cheap seats at Ibrox. Things were so bad at one point that they couldn’t guarantee the safety of a pundit so that he could do his job. Not a hint of embarrassment or apology about that statement by the way, they put it out there like a fuckin badge of honour.

    Something needs done and pronto!

This is mainly a Scotland Football message board where most members do not support either of the OF

Therefore if a Celtic supporter whinges about Rangers fans behavior then they will likely receive the same short shrift that a Rangers supporter whingeing about Celtic fans behaviour would

The reason - as i said before - both clubs have the exact same elements amongst their support and anything one has done it is unlikely the other hasnt

Places where you are more likely to get positive responses to this whingeing are the Huddleboard or Follow Follow

    Are you for real?

There is now an established pattern of serious assault and intimidation of Celtic staff, players and fans at Ibrox going back a few years now. The huns seem incapable of providing a secure environment for visiting Celtic teams. That has to be addressed before something even more serious occurs than what has already gone before, especially now with a proposed return of visiting fans next season.

Rather than addressing this appalling behaviour you have chosen to use false equivalence by referencing something from 24 years ago. If you can’t call this out without resorting to pathetic whataboutery on the huns behalf then I for one have no interest in your opinion! No doubt you’ll get plenty of plaudits from the two cheeks brigade who blame the Glasgow clubs for all Scottish football’s ills. Then maybe that’s what you were after in the first place 🤔

  5. Listen, in the real world I don’t think you get a penalty for either of those yesterday. In this rarified environment of ifab/var etc I think most refs are awarding both.  I’m not saying it’s right but that’s the way the game works these days!

Anyway well done to Stenhousemuir…..a fantastic achievement!

Apologies. I find it hard to take lectures on fan behaviour from Celtic fans. I’m not saying Rangers shouldn’t be held to account. Action should be taken. But I can’t guarantee you it will be reciprocated in May and not a word will be said.

I don’t think I was lecturing at all and now you’re implying that Rangers are held to a different standard?

I think I’ll just log oot, you’ve lost the plot clearly.

Oh the irony. I was at CP in May1999 mate. Our players were pelted at the went down the tunnel. No excuses though. Needs to be sorted.

In recent games at Ibrox the Celtic physio has had his head split open with a glass bottle, Joe Harts penalty area littered with broken glass and numerous fans (when they were allowed in) injured by flying batteries, golf balls and bottles ……..but your response is to indulge in whataboutery from 24 years ago.
Have a word with yourself Ed 🙈

  8. What is it going to take for the governing body to do something about the disorder inside Ibrox at these games? They had no Celtic fans to pelt with missiles today so attacked the bench again instead!
It’s not on but will be swept under the carpet as usual by todays ‘moral winners’. 😏

  9. We really should be seeing that out after the 3rd goal. I have no idea what Yang thought he was doing at their equaliser. We should have been out of sight by half time anyway. That’s 2 points dropped as far as I’m concerned.
On Beaton, overall I thought he was poor but got the pens and disallowed goal correct.

October is the very end of the tourist season, and looks like Manchester and Stansted are the two main options for a direct flight to Zagreb, but only 2 per week.

Aye, Croatian Airlines, loads throughout the day, and can get it for as cheap as £35 if flexible with your time, but mostly around the £50 mark one way

Mrs Slasher might be enthusiastic about a wee night or two in Dubrovnik, I’ll have to look at return options. I really need to come back on the 13th 🤔

Beaton will be under so much pressure on Sunday. It was a bemusing decision to appoint him for a number of reasons but he can't win either way.

I agree. It was clearly a parting GIRFUY from Crawford Allan. My point is Beaton should never have gotten to where he is but I guess the bar is really that low.
