Folk then say but it's only the far flung/unattractive games that allow you to do that. No shit Sherlock. I went to Vienna when i was struggling with hols as i knew it would get me further up the line when it came to these qualifiers then hopefully the Euros. I try and keep my points at 10 homes and 4/5 out the last 10 aways at least. I've never been one to go to every away game, apart from when in my early 20s but fair play to those that do. They deserved tickets ahead of me at games when i've lost out.

There's plenty of games that will go to zero points. Spain away for example never will.

The current system is as fair as it can be.

I totally agree the system is as fair as it can be.  The only thing i would change is 100% collection on day of the game or day before to stop the harvesting.

Anyone else pissed of with the way the public sale was open for all five games. I bought 8 tickets pre public sale for the first two games for me, my two "adult"kids and a teenage child one as we are all members of the SSC.

There was no way I could afford 20 tickets to cover all the games.

Managed to get the credit to buy two tickets for the Norway and Georgia games but still feel a bit pissed of that more time wasn't allowed for members.

Has this been normal over the past few years, I haven't noticed, but then the games have been far from sellouts

Not Really I actually quite like the option to but all the games at the same time and have the facility to download the tickets straight away without having to pay for postage and yes this have been the norm for the last 2 seasons.  I also like as a SSC member I can auto select the same seats for a full calendar year with 1 click.

I do appreciate If I were buying 20 tickets for my kids and myself it would be a big dent in my monthly outlay and would probably have to use my credit card.  Maybe the adult "kids" need to step up and pay for their own tickets.

  3. I have flights booked with KLM from Edi - Amsterdam - Oslo and the departing flight is now been put back from 6am to 9:10am meaning we have to get the later connection from Amsterdam to Oslo and instead of getting us into Oslo for 12:10pm its not 6:30pm we have basically lost the day in Oslo and will revert to airplane/Airport refreshments "responsibly".  Gutted to lose the day in Oslo but happy to still have flights.

Unpopular opinion incoming but here goes .....

Should we play our home tie against Cyprus at Pittodrie or Easter Road ?

With the change in getting a loyalty point for home games and the current supporters membership approx. 32k it would mean some of the lower points members being unable to purchase a home ticket and thus with one of the current member benefits being a guaranteed home game, I think this will mean a move to another stadium ruled out.  If anything i think there is the potential to move one of the women's games as they got 10K fans there last week and would provide the opportunity to grow that game round the country and give a potential better atmosphere.

Well 5 of us are already booked for Norway

Oooft! i was 3 clicks away from booking when my bro phoned me in a panic as 10min b4 he sent a text to tell me to book ASAP as the prices of the flights were going up appox. £10 every 5 min.  I would not have took any calcellation policy either.  I hope you did.

  6. Officially they only have to give us 5% and as its only 15K capacity so 750 tickets which is 22+ points only will get tickets.  As the SFA has emailed us and asked us to complete the Poll whether we plan to travel to Poland I have a feeling they will use this data to obtain rough figures to apply for a higher allocation.  even 10% only goes to to approx 18 points.  I'm on 16 points and did not book flights until location confirmed and now flights from Edinburgh have went from £141 to over £300 so unfortunately that's out my budget.   Forgetting about officially allocations and thinking more on a morale obligation id be surprised if they did not offer us at least 2-3K worth of tickets due to the short notice.

  7. I'm only on 16 points so going to wait until sales schedule to see if I get a ticket i'm feeling a little glass half empty right now,  They will easily fill their seats as its on 15k capacity, I live in hope they give us as many tickets as we want due to the delay in advising us the location......

  8. I would like 2 x tickets for Sundays game,  2 x 16 point supporters whom were not quick enough on the day of the sale.  I'm happy to provide proof of our points and happy to pay above face value.

We are going down on Sunday regardless if we have a ticket(s) or not so any last minute offers are appreciated.

They are not taking advantage of someone who has more points. The person with more points can go in and buy them before it drops to the next level. It is however giving them an advantage over people on the same number of points.
Its  the loophole that should be closed though .

The Wales game went down to a 13 pointer getting a ticket and I had 14 points and it was stating online sold out before 3pm and 14 points went live at 4pm.  This means someone has put tickets in their basket and refreshed there screen for a couple hours waiting for it to be there time to be able to purchase.  It looks like as soon as you put tickets in your basket the system allocates them before they are actually bought.   I spoke with the SFA today for about 30 min and they were trying to empty all baskets every 30 min but were unable to stop a few slipping through the net.   To stop it next time the time slots may be more spaced out to avoid this as if the allocations were up for 24hr before it drops to the next level it would prevent it.

  11. Hi All,  I'm travelling to Austria for the 1st time and i have a couple questions.

When we should expect to hear of the pick up point in Austria?  Also where the regular meet up point for a few refreshments before the game?

Booked Austria flights whilst at games last night.  Quite looking forward to this now!

Me too booked flights via palma and approx 6.5hrs both both there and back.  Looking forward to visiting Vienna for the 1st time out Monday and back Wednesday.  Hope you have an enjoyable trip.

It looks like those on 0 points only have the ticket window open after the results of both games are known.
would have made sense for them to commit before the outcome is known.

IT will be lucky to get to 11 points....  there are 1476 people on 13-16 points.  and a further 873 on 12 points.  Those on 0 points have very little chance for an away ticket apart from the guarantee of home games.

  14. If it were up to me, I would make our game against Ukraine on the 7/6/2022 a winner takes all game for both the nations cup 3 points and the semi final qualifier.  This would help ease congestion on the amount of games and the fixture is set in place anyway.  Id then propose that the final would be the week after the last nations cup against Armenia.   I would scrap the friendly fixtures to take place between the 2 losers of the semi finals.  This means all the games would go ahead as usual and we would have approx. 1 week after the last game against Armenia on the 14.6.2022 to prepare.  I see this as causing little to no changes for all travelling supporters.

  15. I did not manage to log on during the day as i was working and by the time i got logged in my session expired as i was busy.  All 3 of my group bought the 4 ticket package and i have to say i think the SFA have got it bang on with the pricing structure and the policy they have used to distribute the tickets.  Fans that are willing and able to buy the 4 match package should have and have been given priority to those only wanting the potential glory game.  The incentive of 1 point for home matches and 1 point for being a SSC holder for 3+ more campaigns has seen me go from around 2-4 points to 13.  This means the 1 away game i can attend per campaign i have nearly always qualified for an "official" away ticket and not needed to buy from a harvester.  The bonus of 33k+ SSC member's and better atmosphere outweighs the ability to buy better seats as there has in the past been less interest in the team.

Anyone know what happens if England lose 2-0 and we win 1-0? Same points, same goals scored, conceded and against the same teams?

Unlikely, I know, but there is still a small chance we could finish ahead of England in 2nd place.

It goes to red and then yellow cards

  17. Has anyone tried to transfer a ticket bought through the SSC ballot to another person via the uefa ticket app? It states non transferable in a red box but on the edit icon it shows personal information to transfer to a guest. I'm wondering if this feature actually works as I was always under the impression they were always non transferable.

    Thanks in advance.
