  1. Even if the squad size stays at 23, I think Ferguson being out has nailed Fraser's place.
  2. Only saw the highlights but Andy Robertson looked in great form despite Liverpool's defeat.
  3. True, but they can't afford to draw at Parkhead now. Well played County, a historic win.
  4. Was news to me too, as well as the Sportsound team.... "CELTIC HAVE MADE SIX SUBS!!!" being yelled in anticipation of a huge story.
  5. Hickey could miss the rest of Brentford's season and will still be as match ready as Patterson come June.
  6. I'm a bit torn on that one. Yes we can get some potentials into the squad, but it also gives our opponents a larger pool of possibly better quality to pick from.

Actually heard a feature on ACL injuries on the radio this week.... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cjljenw9ggyo
  8. Unless UEFA up the squad sizes I can't see him getting a shout this time.
  9. Probably for the best. Our clubs aren't competitive at Champions League level any more.
  10. Dundee were using Celtic's pitch covers, lobby your club to buy better ones.

The fact it's harder not to get a playoff than qualify for them makes this group a bit bobbins. Hopefully interest will pick up once the next phase is reached.

Almost 33,000 at the Aviva in Dublin tonight for Ireland v England, yet just 3000 fans were rattling around Hampden (can't be too critical as I didn't even bother to use my SSC freebie).
  13. Sources tell me Celtic will be at Rugby Park in midweek for the second last game, St Mirren v Killie on the final Saturday.
  14. The problem is segregating Hampden. Would probably mean having to sell the North Stand allocation last, and that's where most fans want to go.

Should be out of sight against this mob. Woefully pedestrian.
  16. Probably just after we take a last minute lead against Germany.
  17. By the same token, for many of those who grew up before the 1970s, the idea of Scottish independence was very much a fringe political concept. Nobody under 30 is going to really be able to remember Scotland not having its own devolved parliament, that's a big generational shift.
  18. Older voters got us Brexit so they're clearly not risk averse.
  19. Congratulations to Stenny. A great old club, hopefully not 140 years until the next silverware 👏
  20. I think you can argue either way about Rangers' penalty, as mentioned above in this day and age it probably is one. I don't think there can be many complaints about the officiating yesterday. What is undeniable is that Fabio Silva is an embarrassment to the profession.
  21. Killie and St Mirren both finishing in the top 6 for the first time in the history of the Scottish league.
  22. Wasn't a problem back in the day, get oan wi' it...
  23. Seems the problem is backing up from drainage on Dens Road.
