  1. Yesterday evening, Thplinth made an absolutely vile and untrue accusation towards aaid. When thplinth realised he'd gone way too far and posted something that was beyond the pale, he panicked and unconvincingly tried to pass it off as a joke. The mods then wiped the entire thread and very possibly thplinths account.
  2. Thplinth was (going back six or seven years ago mind you) once quite an amusing if somewhat eccentric poster. Then he somehow got brainwashed by that alt-right bullshit and you know what happened after that.
  3. Clarke quoted in the Herald saying that they are seriously considering looking in the USA, Canada and Australia for eligible goalkeepers. He also dropped a big hint to Robby McCrorie that it's now or never for him to find first team football either at Rangers or elsewhere.
  4. Connor Barron ? Or hope a young Italian goalkeeper in Serie A has a Scottish granny !
  5. How is being anti-monarchist somehow anti-Rangers ? Were you upset when Mrs Windsor died ? Is the monarchy important to you ? It certainly isn't to many posters on this forum. Ryan Jack got booed by some teenagers at a friendly played at Pittodrie a few years ago. That was wrong but I doubt Jack lost any sleep over it. It also has not happened since. Maybe it's time for you to get over it?
  6. This is like dialogue from a Samuel Beckett play 🤣
  7. Not sure if it's been mentioned on here but Fraser Hornby has an assist and three goals in his last three games in Belgium, Two of the goals were against Club Bruges. If he can start scoring regularly then by all means Hornby should be considered. As for Brown he has barely started half of a pretty poor Stoke teams games this season, That's not entirely fair considering how Brown was out injured for several weeks.
  8. Ach, that was actually quite mild. However, things will get pretty feckin serious if his favourite hockey team gets relegated ....
  9. Did SamP/rolling pish/fermer or whatever the fuck his name is have a dispute with Ramy in the past over who got to keep their bastard wean ?
  10. Can play on the wing and has a bit of pace. Also, for all we know, Clarke may have approach McBurnie and the latter said "no". I'm happy that Ramsay is deservedly in there.
  11. On the bright side, Calvin Ramsay has quite correctly been called up.
  12. Possibly he has now decided to retire from international football ? Because the SFA are stupid, weak, cowardly bastards.
  13. I'd go with Gordon (sub for Kelly at H/T) Ramsay Hendry McKenna Robertson (sub for Tierney at H/T) Ferguson McTominay Armstrong McGinn Christie Adams I'm concerned about Patterson. Looks like he's been rushed back too soon after injury by an under pressure manager and is not fully fit or playing well.
  14. I thought Jack was supposed to be injured ? At least Ramsay is there, that is something. I would rather have had Dominic Hyam in over Grant Hanley and Alan Campbell in over Kenny McLean. Hanley and McLean two players whom I think we should move on from. Has Liam Cooper retired or is he injured again ? Expect three or four withdrawals.
  15. You still haven't said what present day Republican policies you support despite previously being asked.
  16. Ok. We'll try again for a third time. What specific present day Republican policies do you support ?
  17. I seem to recall reading that during the mid-nineties Fergus McCann once refused to release Celtic players for international duty but at Craig Brown's insistence the SFA threatened to get UEFA (or FIFA) involved and McCann had to back down. It's a friendly.
  18. Not happy with that at all. The SFA should have stood their ground, the rules were in their favour. Now that we are minus a few players, if I were Clarke, I'd tell Gemmill that Anderson, Conway, Doig and Ramsay are going with the senior squad to play Turkey. He won't do that of course but I'd love it if he did.
  19. I think Nathan Patterson has been rushed back far too soon after that injury. He should have been given a couple more weeks to build up his fitness. Hasn't looked too clever in his last couple of appearances for Everton.
  20. Ben McIntyre, who was the author of the book upon which the series is based, was the first historian to actually be allowed to see the SAS own WW2 records that had locked up for decades and is also a well respected authority on the espionage and special forces of WW2. I would be inclined to accept what he has to say. The accompanying BBC documentary series also showed a lot of film and photographs of the original SAS from when they did their training before their first mission. All looked very neat and tidy and clean shaven.
