Who doesn't give a stuff? You've just attributed that attitude to everyone. I doesn't actually exist outside your own mind. Yup. Desperately sad. The whole of society however has been focussed on doing things to protect them. They, unfortunately for them, are the ones who're most at risk to COVID. They're the ones who really needed protecting. I do that every other day when I help go care for my elderly relatives who live in sheltered housing and have barely left the house in a year. I'm sorry for your loss.

Holyrood Elections 2021
Parklife replied to aaid's topic in Anything Goes - Other topics not covered elsewhere
I'm not suggesting a pact or anything of the sort. Merely questioning why Iain was annoyed at Alba for costing Indy list seats but not at the SNP who're costing much more Indy list seats. -
I'm not sure how you know either how many they had on public sale or that they sold out. If they did sell out, it was very late as there was plenty availability for all Hampden games right through the final resale window.

But Alba are standing on the list, so what you're saying is irrelevant too... Why is Alba standing on the list & potentially resulting in less Indy MSPs out of order but the SNP doing it okay? The SNP aren't entitled to any pro-Indy voters vote, especially given their actual ambivalence to independence -

How many pro-Indy seats would there be if the SNP didn't stand on the list and their votes went to the other Indy parties? -
I agree phart, people who've died have given up more than people who haven't.

How do you "know" uefa sold 27k? I've never seen that confirmed at all. I didn't even think that many were on sale & im pretty sure whatever was on public sale didn't sell out.
-
Indeed. Especially when the people who've given up most during the entirety of this (young people), are the ones who the "working from home" middle aged professionals & OAP's are having a pop at. Little wonder some young people will give up with all the restrictions then. They're the ones least likely to be impacted health wise yet have been most impacted financially, yet are the ones being blamed?

Where you getting your 60% figure from?

Scottish Cup....

Now that the return window is closed, we should hopefully find out what's happening very soon. Anyone know if there's been any communication from UEFA on how they're doing this? I.e. when they'll run the ballot and when we'll know for sure the SSC allocation.

Thanks.

Anyone know how many were sold in the public sale held previously? Ive got tickets in that but will fall short of the likely points threshold for Hampden games, so trying to work out the likelihood of my tickets being cancelled.

It's the best value tv subscription going tbh. I'm cool with it. -

Pretty sure Aberdeen will win the league next season. -
Fair enough. I don't think we've seen enough of either to be casting them aside. If we were signing a player who'd done what McLennan has at international level, we'd all be very excited. Both have ability IMO but need a run of games and confidence shown in them in order to develop. After his comments on Saturday, I'd potentially agree on Sheerin. As far as I understand, Robson had the under 18's playing good stuff and developing well prior to the league stoppage. He's been underwhelming to date but I think we've seen enough of him in the past to know he can be good enough. Yup and it's coming. 9 out of contract plus 4 loans ending. A great opportunity for us to improve, while retaining our best players (Lewis, Ferguson, , Hedges, McCrorie). Yup. McInnes filled our squad with expensive journeyman back-ups like Ojo, main and McGinn. Taking serious wages while also blocking paths of progression for our young players. That needs to change. Our budget can be better used by investing more in the first XI and utilising our young players to fill our bench and fill-in when injuries and suspensions occur.

Great to see Hearts embarrassed. Thoroughly deserved. -
Bizarre list of people to go IMO. Campbell & McLennan are both young players who need faith shown in them and a run in the team, while McGeouch is definitely good enough. Hornby and Hendry are loan players who'll be away in the summer regardless Sheerin, Robson and simmie will go back to their regular jobs. Anyway, very underwhelmed by this and concerned with the entire process (or lack of) behind the appointment. The rumoured additions of Brown and Allan Russell are more positive, so hopefully they are confirmed soon.

Spot on. I stopped listening to Sportsound through the week about 18 months. It's absolutely brutal. Clowns like the ones you mentioned on night after night & presented by clown in chief kenny McIntyre. Almost every guest spouts bland, mind-numbing drivel.
