Norway were clean through on goal after they equalised as well! Fortunately Leighton made amends.

The whole crowd was going "Oooooooooooo" in anticipation for the final whistle during this mayhem too.

I still remember the "Oooooooooo" as if it was yesterday. So eerie.

  2. Can't imagine the current good players who have waited patiently for their chance will be too happy. It risks upsetting the balance of what we've achieved with this squad. Everyone knows, and is happy with, the fact that you need to work your way into the squad and then hang about until earning your chance in the team. Parachuting in a "superstar " risks disharmony.

Also, from the other point of view, is Harvey Barnes willing to hang around to work for his place. He might well make our squad but does he realise that he'll have to work at dislodging McTominey or McGinn? Will he hang about over the course of several squads without getting a sniff?

Easily one of the worst OF games I've watched. Celtic lucky to get away with the var decision too. Soft as fuck but probably going by the actual rules it's the right decision. Defender made a cunt of it though. Two very poor teams

It's a foul. Staggered to hear the claims that it's not. He fouls him! People see what they wanna see.

IMO there are too many people who think that just saying they want independence is enough and make no effort at all to progress it.

That's me. I want independence with all my heart, have all my adult life, will continue to do so. Referendum knocked the stuffing out of me. Current shenanigans not helping reinvigorate my enthusiasm. Meh, the people weren't interested in 2014, well, not enough of them. Struggling to see, even if I could find the enthusiasm, what could be done to get more doubters on board. We won the argument last time and it wasn't enough.

A bitter wee jobby that was overhyped from a young age and has had a bang average career.

Never heard the term rondo in a football context in my puff. Still confused. Young people should fuck off with their awful terminology

Every day is a school day. Its not a word I ever use but at least I know what it actually means now.

Thing is, it's not a school day, it's not actual learning; it's awful made-up ridiculous patter from young people. A bit of a generalisation but I fear 20 and 30 somethings of today are utterly embarrassing. Beamer new words and awful things to get their middle-class knickers in a twist over. We had proper rebelliousnous in my day. I'm totally becoming like every other generation before me In fearing for the youth of today. Fannies.

aaid and phart should be doing likewise rather than clinging on to their trendiness and condoning/encouraging the madness. Long live the oldies.

She's not immune from criticism, however being criticised by middle aged men is mansplaining in the extreme and being criticised by people who 5 minutes earlier have been saying "don't criticised the SNP" is hypocritical.

But what's this "mansplaining" pish? It's not a real thing. If a man is being condescending to a woman, call it out for the patronising, arrogant pish it is. But to give it a generalising, made-up name that means a person who happens to be a man cannot ever criticise a person who happens to be a woman? What is this nonsense? But I'm 51, a man, a married man - Black probably thinks my opinion is worth shit.

I think that middle aged straight men telling a young lesbian women what she can and cannot say isn’t a great look.

Black is (a) young and (b) a lesbian; thus she is above reproach. Nope.

Black is (a) an elected MP and (b) talking inflammatory, accusatory, ageist nonsense; thus criticism is warranted. Yep.

I am just going standard tariff to start with. I think energy prices will come down more. Will maybe check every month or two on uswitch . I will definitely fix again as I prefer knowing what I am paying for a couple of years , assuming my usage doesn’t change. I will probably fix at a time I feel the monthly payments are acceptable for me rather than try to pick the bottom of the market.
If you like the security of fixed , check to see what premium you are paying over the standard tariff. If you can cope with the fixed price and and you are not paying a ridiculous premium it’s sometimes just worth fixing for peace of mind .
However if the current fixed is too much I do think it will come lower and you may get an opportunity to fix at a better price.

    DISCLAIMER ! DISCLAIMER !DISCLAIMER!

    Cheers.

Scottish power will have hedged the fuel on your fixed tariff so they won't be out of pocket there . They will have lost money on those on floating tariffs when the government put the price cap on but as can be seen they have more  than made up for it.
Well done on the fixed tariff though. I had one too, finishes at the end of this month, it was just good luck though as i just  took a fixed deal with EDF when my energy company, Green Network Energy , went bust 2 yrs ago and I was fobbed off to them.

What are your plans now? We're similar, had a decent fixed term deal that expires August that we just kind of fell into. Should we look for another fixed deal or what? I'm useless with financial stuff.

Stevie Archibald was a very good striker. You dont get the moves he did and play for the clubs he did without talent. He was a supremely confident guy as well and that rubbed a lot of folk up the wrong way, so I dont think he made himself popular with journalists and some fellow pros at the time. However, if you listen to the likes of Willie Miller, Alex McLeish and Gordon Strachan, they all rated him. Even Lineker speaks well of him in the recent icons documentary on BBC.

Stevies problem was he was born in a time when Scotland had a lot of options. Joe Jordan, Dalglish, McCoist, Johnston, McAvennie, Nicholas, Paul Sturrock, Derek Johnston, Alan Brazil etc so he didnt play anywhere near the number of games for Scotland he would have got these days.

Probably not helped by his rather aloof uncompromising demeanour!

Archibald was terrible for Scotland. Stop pretending otherwise.

Strange, my mates kids go there and they've opposite experience.

Hopefully your kids year if just a blip.

More Killie supporting the kids in the town than i can ever remember.

If you go to mini kickers etc you;ll see more Killie strips than both old firm team combined by some distance.

Yeah, absolutely. I see plenty Killie strips. Just noticeable cos my son (who hates football) comes home snd winds me up by saying he loves Rangers. His friends he plays with who stay round about us all go about with the orange monstrosity on. As you say, maybe just a blip of a year group.
