  1. πŸ˜‚ this post has to win you the day. Let me start you off
  2. How dare you tar the respectable ladies on this board with the same brush as me.
  3. 😳 wash your mouth out with soap young man. Though I admit things have changed a bit from Albert Tatlock to David Platt.
  4. I have a recurring dream that I need to sit my Higher maths again. It was by far my strongest subject at school and got an A in 1980. It was so long ago I didnt even have a calculator for the exam. I have actually woken up in a panic and cold sweat as I doubt I would even understand the questions these days, never mind answer them correctly. Yet a remember the name of the wee shite who called me teabag because of all my freckles .
  5. Why, is Jeremy this month’s special guest? No, have to go to hospital every night at the moment as my mum is still in there.
  6. πŸ‘ , a wee shade of grey creeping in there. And I certainly wouldnt call you β€˜grey’ , or a creep πŸ™‚
  7. Have you actually joined ? πŸ™„
  8. I imagine you would most definitely be in the majority, and I certainly wouldn't think badly of you for it. However this doesnt mean Biffer doesnt have a back bone, that is my gripe. In my opinion, and in this particular instance, the fact he would do what most wouldnt means he has more of a back bone. I find it quite refreshing to hear that someone is considering others before themselves. I know not everyone will agree with this right enough.
  9. πŸ™‚, there is more than a passing resemblance in that photo. I would never forget those curtains .
  10. You should be out enjoying your last few weeks Mr Fringo 😁 I have recently booked tix for Queen and Adam Lambert at the TRNSMT festival. The other day I told someone I was going to see Queen and Adam Sandler πŸ™‚ I saw Queen with Freddie Mercury in Paris just a year before he died so hoping I am not disappointed.
  11. I think Biffer shows more of a backbone by being selfless enough to take a days leave than proceed with an action that contradicts his personal beliefs, regardless of whether or not the strike relates to his own job. I like you DTS, but you sometimes only see things in shades of black and white. To be fair , many people do at times, myself included. But I would not go as far as calling you a Tory 😏
  12. I am no that honest, I got chosen for a pick or those tickets would be winging themselves to anyone who could rustle up Mr and Mrs Tdyer63 passports πŸ™‚ Come to think ot it , that ambassador guy could be doing a few homers as we speak. No wonder he looked so chirpy in that video. And know what you are thinking, you are thinking β€˜ is her mum really in hospital’ ? πŸ™„ Flure has submitted an official complaint as his tickets arrived in standard post under the very common title of Mr J Flure. It would appear there is no β€˜Lord and Lady’ options in the Hungarian FA.
  13. Seems not. I called them yesterday as my mum is in hospital and I need to cancel the trip. I thought I could free up my 2 tckets to give someone else the chance of having them , but they said they cant take cancellations as the names are on our tickets. I got the impresion it was the Hungarian fa that made this decision, but who knows.
  14. No tckets are being resold as the original members name is on the ticket. Seems a waste of tickets to me , especially when its a low allocation, but not much the SFA can do on this occasion.
  15. When I was in my teens in the 1970’s. I read 2 books about Belfast , The Twelth Day of July and Across the Barricades. They were books about a young boy and girl from opposite sides of the divide who fell in love. At that same time I supported Rangers and went to ibrox. My best friend was a Catholic. The books were just a teenage love story but they made me think how sad the whole situation was. I stopped going to Ibrox and through time stopped supporting Rangers. I suddenly realised what was being sung by , in those days, the vast majority of the crowd about catholics. There was no way I was paying money to listen to that . 40 years on my best friend is still my best friend. I do not miss the singing or what went with it . I made the right decision. It is good to hear that efforts are being made and things may be slowly changing in Belfast. How many people have needlessly spent their lives in bitterness and hatred . Thanks for your post, I might go back over at some point and this time see more than the inside of pubs.
  16. This thread is gonna be far too intelligent for me so all I will say is he wasnt expected to live beyond his early twenties and the world is a better place for him being in it longer. RIP.
  17. β€˜Best mother in the world’ actually. And I received a bottle of gin for my efforts 😎
  18. I agree that the country isnt as progressive as it sometimes thinks but I would not be using a section of old firm supporters as the barometer. These people are the extremes and there is no chance of them being shut down on social media if their own clubs seem unable to, or even want to, deal with them. I dont think they are representative of society as a whole.
  19. I was referring to board status, but thanks for clarifying that πŸ‘
  20. I was wondering how long it would take for his wee brother to pipe up πŸ™‚
  21. Nice Mothers Day greeting, must suggest it for next year πŸ˜—
