Not sure how many days, I'm hardly ever off, it'll be 3 years come November so that's one thing in my favour. There's always people off with stress in my work, probably at it so if I went down that route I'd just be another number but the thought off speaking to the doctor face to face and trying to our an act on just gives me the boak

Sayin the games on the Saturday and not paying silly money for the flight on the Sunday string it out till Monday perhaps least that way I'm being half honest and just unfortunately got my passport stolen. If it's not on the Saturday then come up with the old charter flight story, back straight after the game on the Sunday or whatever If I've got a line then they can hardly argue with a medical expert can they?? There's far too many scenarios too think about

After starting a thread in the off topic section about maybe having to come up with an excuse for time off to hopefully go to the playoffs I was wondering what everyone else's best excuses are for skiving work to go to a game

Thanks folks, another idea is to phone the doctor with flu like symptoms. Last time I had the flu the doctor refused to see me and just issued me with a line for however long it was and to get in touch if I wasn't any better. At least that way I'd only have to phone my work a couple off times to tell them about the line then not have to do it every morning

Hopefully not getting too carried away here but at work today I was checking the holiday rota and with the Euro Playoffs being all over the place it isn't a case of just putting in for 1 week and I now don't have enough for the week after the first legs which I took. If the away leg is second then I've been thinking about what excuses I can come up with and one which has stuck out is making out I'm going away for a few days then phoning up saying I've lost/stolen my passport. I'll have had no absences for pushing 3 years by the time November comes but phoning up from abroad gives me the fear when I'm kidding on I'm in my chariot. Usually they sometimes phone you and if I'm not near my landline then I'm screwed but tell them I am abroad then it makes it a wee bit more plausable. To the point what's the procedure and what happens if you lose or have your passport stolen so I can get my story in order Many thanks in advance dear chums Ps. No wonder the country's ####ed!!
