  1. Regarding our recent poor results, honestly, I think this is a good thing. Being long in the tooth, it is fairly clear that Scotland do best when they're feeling the heat and need to roll their sleeves up. I'm thinking  Sweden 90, Holland 78 and various other less memorable occasions. When we're angry and under pressure, bring it on. We've got the players to do it, of that I have no doubt.

Lost to Georgia today to go along with the loss to Italy the other day. Why do the SFA persist with the likes of hoofball Stark?

Yeah, I was trying to find the result. SFA very quiet on it. 2-3 loss. Stark needs to go. This group needs a proper manager. We don’t want a shambles of a set up that sees dual nationals leaving, and we need proper preparation for the first team. Arguably the best of these players most likely skip the u21s.

Yeh he was excellent tonight. He looked the best of our back 3 & it makes you wonder when you see performances like this why he isn't out on loan , like all players his age he needs to be playing.

King, Conway & Bowie who is a unit & really strong probably the pick for me closely followed by Barron who  always makes himself available & uses the ball well.

Yeah I agree with that. It might seem crazy, but if Fraser doesn't make the Euros, Bowie could be a good option on the right wing. Big, strong, fairly quick and good feet. I was impressed with his attitude, a real determination and confidence about him.
King strolled it, and needs to sort out first team football next season one way or another.
Conway looked like a good conventional striker. A bit of fire about him, and he is also quick.

  4. Now 3-1. We've been not great in this game. Individually alright but collectively a bit too far apart from each other and the odd bad decision on the ball. Also poor use of subs, they're quite clearly blowing out their arses in last 15 minutes.

    Italy haven't been great either.

  5. 2 - 0. Bavidge knew he was about to be subbed so failed to even attempt to close down his man, then they get up and score. Also got a yellow for dissent.

  6. The u19s play Italy today in an u19 Elite Round qualifier. Wilson, Bavidge and One is a pretty exciting selection of strikers to choose from.

Thought he was much better than decent.

Had cramp right at the end but won a header to allow the breakaway for the winning goal.

And a goal and assist, quality player.

Yip, some people on here seem to think he doesn't belong at that level, but he's invariably the best player on the park in the big games. The stats would probably show he was again today. Vital clearance that led to the winning goal, slide rule assist and the opener, all against a very good side.

As an aside from the is he / isn't he Scottish debate, nice to see Ross McCrorie eventually playing his first game for City. Played right wing back for over an hour.

Not sure whether he can make a late push for the EURO squad but he is definitely in the "true Scot" category.

I think McCrorie’s best chance would be the right sided centre back in a three. I don’t think it will happen for the Euros, but maybe in the seasons ahead.

The templates are pish, they're SO boring. I'd prefer it without the white flashing down the side, as I say, the dark blue of the 150th jersey, a dulled badge with the red lion rampant and it'd be a winner !

A bit like the modern Superman films? Superhero film makers are afraid of primary colours. It’s all dark tones with Man of Steel this and Dark Knight that. It’s fucking Superman and Batman!

Sorry, what were we talking about?

Epstein's client list is to be revealed this week - possibly tomorrow

What the fallout will be i have no idea

Reportedly Blair and Campbell are on it but that may just be twitter lies

The internet was talking about today as “Epstein Distraction Day”, lo and behold lethal explosions in Iran with over 100 dead. Supposedly Epstein worked for Mossad so they had dirt on our politicians and therefore unequivocal support.

Not quite.Even as a big shirt collector i couldn't force myself to buy the last home and away shirts. Just so nondescript. Give us something out of the ordinary and banal for heavens sake.

The current home one is not too far off the 78 one. Much better than the horrendous Euro 96 effort, for example.

Bad news on Doak and it's exactly the kind of badly timed injury during his development years that a young player may not recover from/get back to the same level. Seen it happen a lot.

Hopefully a speedy and full recovery and he can find his full potential.

I don’t think it’s too bad. Three months in most cases is what I’m reading, although some tears can take longer. I may be wrong, but it’s not an injury that affects speed or turning per se, like tendons and ligaments, but it is required to absorb the shock of these actions. I’ve had a torn meniscus repaired myself (don’t know if it was the lateral one) but I was never fast and milk turned quicker.

Superb stuff. Now that's the Billy Gilmour we want to see more of.He only needs to be playing regular premier league games and  his confidence will bloom. He has so much techical ability.

He very much is playing regular EPL games. He’s looking physically stronger than last season, too.

He still growing at 24/25? Didn't think that was possible.

Not sure an extra couple of inches is going to make him alot better.

Either way I agree he needs first team football.

I think he must have grown till about 22 or so. We’ve not seen much of him since. He’s filled out a lot and looks like he could really command his box. Allan McGregor was second choice at 25. I think McCrorie could have a great career provided he gets first team football soon.
