  1. Cyprus (away) and Georgia (home). I'd be very surprised if they drop any points now.
  2. Fantastic! Aim now has to be at minimum being the best second placed side in qualifying to get into at least Pot 2 - I assume winning both games (still a tough ask) would do it. Euro 2024 has to be our best chance of getting to the knockout stages.
  3. Right now I'd want Norway to score - would give us qualification and would put us in pole position for top spot in the group.
  4. For clarity: the highest ranked team based on the Nations League results not to qualify. At present the play-off spots that would be occupied by ourselves and Serbia (both on course to automatically qualify) would go to Finland and Ukraine. Iceland are next in line, followed by Norway.

Good win; 3-1. Bowie with two; Doak won and scored a penalty. Hungary's goal was soft to concede; player unmarked from a corner and he scored at the second attempt. Max Johnston got two yellows in second half stoppage time. We looked dangerous from balls into the box and direct running with the ball.
  6. I'm fairly certain the timing was to do with the fiftieth anniversary of the Yom Kippur war. The press struggles with critical thinking at the best of times. The conflation of Palestine and Hamas has to be one of the biggest things that irks me at the moment - would be like stating the IRA was acting on the behalf of Ireland between the 60s and 90s. The media not understanding the difference between Israel, its people, its government and Semitism is another; Israel does not speak for the whole of Judaism. Many in Israel are critical of their government. People should scrutinise the actions of governments and states.
  7. And that's without getting into the question of whether Hendry was even interfering with play and assumes it was actually an offside that was given.
  8. Aye and my edit to that post showed the ref never gave an indirect free-kick for an offside; he gave a direct free-kick. They're just trying to find an excuse to rule that goal out.
  9. https://www.theifab.com/laws/latest/video-assistant-referee-var-protocol/#procedures The referee shouldn't need to 'sell' an offside decision mind. Additionally, the referee never gave an indirect free-kick for an offside [2:00 on video below].
  10. Meanwhile in the Albania-Czech Republic game:
  11. Daily Star got something right for once:https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/spain-scotland-referee-fat-people-31170177
  12. Such as disappointing goal to concede; Hickey just lost his balance. πŸ˜•
  13. Going within three miles of their keeper probably.
  14. That was a chance - if only Adams got more of a touch on it; keeper was committed.
  15. Adams and Armstrong on for Dykes and Christie - bit of needed energy.
  16. Apparently the goal was ruled out for offside now 🀨
  17. Agreed. That was a shocking piece of officiating - clearly a foul on Hutton, rather than Hutton committing a foul. This feels like a worse decision because at least the referee had multiple looks at it.
  18. I imagine if the Spanish players were complaining about anything it was thinking Hendry was offside. The fact no-one seemed to know what they were checking or what the verdict of the check was at first is a complete joke; keeper made no attempt to go for the ball anyway. Awful decision.
  19. No foul!! 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 EDIT - now has been ruled out. What!? πŸ€”
  20. YYYYYYAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. We're getting battered, but this feels like the sort of game we could nick a 1-0 win with a quick break.
  22. Hickey to left-back; Patterson at right-back. I've got no problem with that.
  23. Aye - with Companies House you can list your nationality as Scottish: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/nationalities/list-of-nationalities Generally with legal documents, however, nationality is synonymous with citizenship - so it's very likely whoever filled out Sturgeon's details put her citizenship as the nationality because of this. I really think it's much ado about nothing.
