  1. Was rebooked onto flight via Frankfurt which would get me in Amsterdam for 6pm. At airport, KLM attendant told me flight was overbooked and there was no way I could travel. Have applied for compensation for hotel etc but who knows. Cancelled due to high winds. I had checked in online yesterday but was advised to collect my boarding pass at the airport. Initially thought may be due to UK/EU visa after Brexit but now looks suspect that they knew yesterday flight wasn’t going
  2. I’m home in Lenzie now so if anyone wants them give me a ring and will arrange to meet you
  3. Heading home now. If anyone wants 3 tickets let me know. I live in Lenzie so can collect there. t 07789268245
  4. Disaster. Flight cancelled. Unused tickets at Glasgow airport for anyone that is travelling
  5. Question from those that booked yesterday. Can you add another member's code to your own booking at the end when you are given the option of more tickets? I bought a single ticket for Germany yesterday but am logging in today to get one of the other matches for me plus my wife and two kids (all three on 11 points). I know I can add the two kids codes to my purchase for today. I wasn't sure if my wife could be added at the time of my booking using the same function as adding the kids codes. Or if she would need to buy separately in the same category and added later so we can sit together. TIA
  6. never thought of that. either that or he was on the wind up and doctored the image he sent me....
  7. he showed me the tickets so you can draw your own conclusions
  8. heard from someone who got three tickets via the portal yesterday using their SFA codes. not sure how they managed it. wondered if the tickets will be honoured given the problems.
  9. At least someone noticed it. Imagine the carnage if folk on >12 points lost out because the 11 pointers got in early (speaking as someone who has 12 points but two kids on 11 points so this may have suited me!)
  10. 1250 Glasgow - Frankfurt - Munich arrive 1810 Thursday to Saturday Booked late so cost a bit but worth it
  11. Two adults and two children Face value to cover booking fee £25 each South Stand Lower Section I5 Row M Reasons for sale - going on holiday
  12. The likes of the Czechs are above us and we have no right to assume we will beat them. Ukraine is similar - they will likely win our nations league group and be promoted to A. However, there is something about not having the belief we can at least compete with better nations. This group of players definitely showed this on occasion, for example against Denmark. The game yesterday was against a poor side that just bullied us and were organised. The tactics and team selections in the last three games have been poor. Nearly all of the goals conceded were very soft. We were streets ahead at home to Armenia yet Roberson, McGregor, Adams and McGinn all start when could clearly have benefited from the rest, especially when you see the cover we have in the squad.
  13. How do we get access to this? Taking my two boys to their first match. Ta.
  14. Aye, their Irish uncle has reminded me of that a few times! To be fair, I don't think either of McGeady or McCarthy's parents were Irish and it was a more tenuous grandparent link. It's funny, as young as they are, they both get the fact they have dual nationality
  15. I can't imagine he's getting any guidance at a club that constantly talks down the Scottish game and looks to play down south
  16. This chimes with me I've two boys aged 5 & 6. Both play football, as well as other sports. They have an Irish mum and the euros was good in terms of having a team to cheer. I fear my dream of getting them into watching Scotland won't happen as the sport in this country goes from bad to worse.
  17. It is pretty clear that any Scotland fan is not a glory hunter or fairweather fan For me, the SFA should be leading the game in Scotland but are in danger of running it into the ground. Having paid for my season ticket, I won't be back until there is some sort of change
  18. Aye, so send Burke home. That'll gain him experience.
  19. Smacks of 451. Slovakia will have most of the ball and play high up the pitch, so surely play some pace to hit them fast we have the ball?
  20. Could be multiple reasons. Get professional advice via GP.
  21. My two boys have been doing SFA mini kickers for the past two years (now aged 5 and 3.5). Seems like a world away from what I attended when I was a kid some 30 years ago and have been impressed
  22. I think you're right about our position within the UK being detrimental to any independent sporting success. Far better chance if we were fully integrated into the one system, not that it's something I would prefer though. In reality we can't do much about the social context. I feel that the team has improved and finishing 3rd from pot 4 would be a success. Comparisons with N. Ireland aren't really fair, as our top two (Ger/Pol) are far stronger than anything in their group. The same goes for Wales, however they are at a higher level than us now anyway. The SFA must keep the focus on producing quality young players and raising the standard. That will feed through to the national team as we will hopefully see soon with the performance schools. Or not.....
