I’m not sure how much faith I have in a manager who totally wasted the recent friendliesv and has gone seven games without a win and let in a bucket load of goals
His passing is miles better than Dykes over the last few seasons according to the stats. Adam’s is better still and both of them have been playing in the EPL were I guess it is harder to complete passes.
Hardly played in January February and march due to injury’s or being rushed back too soon so there was no way Clarke was going to pick him.
Only me and The Saint would have called him up.
If he ccntinues to perform and stay fit Clarke will pick him.
Am I the only one who has noticed that we are seven games without a win.
Out of curiosity when does not doing the business in the past equate to not doing the business in the present.
Thanks, I missed that he had been injured so maybe on the basis of his start to the season there is hope that there’s a player in there.
Got a lot of doubts about how strong the MLS is though.
Add Ryan Gauld to that.
Clarke has a lot to answer for
If he followed my advice we would topped our group, won all the friendlies and be the current European champions.
Sir Oliver Mcburnie would be our main man up front.
Only stats, but Lewis Morgan didn’t do much in the last two years in the states.
Carries on like he has done in his first few games this season though and he’s some player.
Could well end up as for of the radar as Liam Henderson
153 feet for the ball, the piece you cut off is will be less than 153 feet. In answer to the question less than 153 days assuming someone at the SFA has found the ball if not who knows.
I would argue more that the players around him have improved. Maybe his brother getting diagnosed with cancer will finally get him to screw the nut.
can’t see him getting called up now and it’s one of the things I was concerned about Clarke with the recent friendlies Not calling up more strikers considering the form of the usual two and the uncertainty about Shankland at a higher level.
No body is saying sack him.
Nobody is too concerned about friendly results.
I think the concern is that he did not use them correctly
Cant see what he was doing playing the same old faces in the same positions. What could he possibly learn.
Vogts probably managed us at our lowest regarding available players
loyalty to players is great but with Dykes and particularly Patterson out of form. Alternatives should be blooded surely. If Patterson plays like he did in the last two matches we are in deep trouble unless Hickey comes back
Ralston has been in the squad for some time and should have played at some point. A lot of people don’t rate him but he can’t be any worse than Patterson was in the two friendlies He might be second choice at Celtic but I doubt he would be behind the two geriatrics Patterson is at Everton
