  1. Fully agree Big Ramy but as King of Paisley says I cannot see it happening.
  2. Yes I would not be unhappy with that line-up considering who we have left available.
  3. Taking all things into account I'd not be too upset with a draw tonight. Sure I want us to win every game but this will be our third game in a few days and we came into these matches with a patched up squad which has been patched up even more since and tonight we will be without Robertson too. A draw would keep our unbeaten run going and keep us top of the table and be a decent result considering the team we will start out with tonight missing Robertson, Tierney, Armstrong, Burke, Cooper, Forrest, Christie, Palmer and Fleck.
  4. Well certainly its nowhere near the advantage of having 50,000 fervent, noisy Serb fans backing them in Belgrade.
  5. That would depend on if Serbia allows fans in for the match. If they do then it would have been more beneficial being at Hampden if its behind closed doors then no real difference to it being Hampden.
  6. I don't think anyone is denying that here. Just re-iterating to the doom merchants that Serbia are by no means unbeatable.
  7. Ashby makes it 7-0 from a pre-planned move tapping in at the near post.
  8. 6-0 McLennan finishes strongly after a burst of pace down the wing and pass from Middleton.
  9. And two minutes later and Hornby nets a hat-trick tapping in from close-range after low cross from Harvie. 5-0.
  10. Hornby scores with a header in 49 minutes after cross from Middleton, 4-0.
  11. Half-Time:- San Marino 0 Scotland 3 (Hornby, Turnbull, Maguire)
  12. Barry Maguire with a shot inside the area and it is 3-0 on 42 minutes.
  13. Nice header from Turnbull. 2-0 Scotland on 38 minutes. Or as tannot announced it Toornboool.
  14. Think it was Hornby - not sure though.
  15. Robbed of a second goal. Header off crossbar bounced over the line and spun back out. No goal given.
  16. Fraser Hornby penalty. 1-0 Scotland.
  17. You are plucking up form from three or four years ago though with regards their form. It is current form that matters most and in the last year ours is actually better than theirs.
  18. No denying it will be tough but a couple of things could help greatly. Firstly, getting a favourable draw with us getting the weakest teams from the first two pots. Secondly, if we can elevate ourselves into pot 2 would greatly enhance our chances.
  19. At the end of the day though the bottom line that matters is building a strong squad. Sometimes players develop late and come on strong coming into international contention in their mid-20s and excel for us. On the other side of the coin we've tipped youngsters for big things that have sunk without trace.
  20. This is latest Czech Republic news pulled from BBC:- Meanwhile, the Czech Republic have lost head coach Jaroslav Silhavy and an unnamed player for Wednesday's game in Glasgow after the pair tested positive on Monday.
  21. Speculation on my behalf but he did have that heavy fall and has started and played both games almost in their entireity.
  22. Also remember that McTominay landed on his back late on so needed treatment so that may rule him out too.
  23. He has been called up to replace the injured Cooper.
