  1. Good stuff. What did you book for the tennis? I’m right into the tennis but still swithering. Will maybe see if I get any other matches in the UEFA ballot first.
  2. There's more than one Halle apparently, so it's not the one near Leipzig. It's up near Munster/Bielefield,Osnabruck, so kinda North-west generally. Not a million miles from Dortmund.
  3. Any tennis fans out there, the grass court season will be underway. On the men’s side Stuttgart finishes the weekend of the Germany game. Then the Berlin (women’s) and Halle (men’s) kicks in the following week.
  4. Was the email in response to a support request you’d already submitted?
  5. I’ve got 2 tickets for sale for the noted gig if anyone is interested in a bit of Caledonia to get warmed up for the euros. 😁 It’s at the Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow, as part of Celtic Connections 2024. Tues 23 January @ 7.:30pm. Tickets were £23 each plus booking fees. Happy to take £35 for the pair if anyone wants them.
  6. I just assumed he was going well at Watford.
  7. It would be 25% discount off the main prices on the Interrail site. I got 25% off in the Black Friday promo. It worked out about £335 for 15 days. Would have been £275 for 10 days.
  8. It talks about 25% discount from the normal Interail pass - with date restrictions applied. I doubt they can/will apply any additional restrictions that would prevent usage in additional countries like a normal interrail pass - other than the need to be a match ticket holder to have the FanPass as an additional requirement to make your Interrail ticket valid. There will be more info come the 17th I’m sure. Interrail customer services are also very good at responding but I don’t think they’ll know any more details yet. As above, I don’t expect them to have restrictions to only enter/exit Germany only once. Especially given it’s a 25% discount off of a pass that would have no such restriction at full rate. Standard rules are that you can only have 1 outbound day travel from home country (UK) and one inbound to home country (UK). Everything between that is open for travel between all other included countries. I don’t expect the Euro pass to differ from that.

    New jersey

I see that someone on FB posted that the 150th jersey is back in stock with JD if anyone still wants one. 15% discount with your SSC code.
  10. On a slightly similar note - has anyone watched the ‘Boys from Maybole’ at Spain ‘82 on YouTube? I remember having it on tape back in the day. Anyone from down Ayrshire way know if any of them go to games still?
  11. You won’t get the actual tickets until the days or weeks before the game. If you mean you want to check your booking confirmation, you should have received a booking email at the time you purchased. (It may have went to junk) Other than that, if you want to see the confirmation on the UEFA portal - you need to click the link from the email that the SFA sent you with the access codes. That will show your order history when you log in via that route. It’s not visible on the normal UEFA portal if you were to log in to that.
  12. This is why I bought. Saved me any scramble for flights at the draw and we plan on dotting around a number of cities depending on what other tickets we can get. We were £335 for a 15 day pass. It’ll do me for Glasgow-London-Cologne on day 1 before we head to Munich. All the travel between cities in between, and then the journey back probably via Paris and London. Could have managed that all within a 10 day pass but opted for the extra £60 for the 15day in case we make out the group. In that scenario, I’ll still have enough days left to jump on a plane to Germany or any neighbouring country and jump on a train again.
  13. This isn’t correct. There’s a whole range of interrail passes as part of the offer. It is detailed on the link that you posted: I already bought a 15-day pass on the Black Friday deal - it’s basically the same as the euros deal is going to be - 25% off.
  14. I’m sure someone else will confirm, but I think the answer is ‘no’. While you will be entitled to travel on the train, you will not be 100% guaranteed a seat.
  15. It’s taken a long time to break. 😂
  16. I was a 15 year old kid when we got to France 98. My dad had taken me to games at Hampden as early as the Italia 90 campaign. I remember really getting into it in qualifying games for Euro 96 and more so France 98 when I got to high school age. Away games were never even a reality at that stage though. I remember trying the France 98 ticket hotline on redial about a million times. Think if we’d actually managed to get tickets, my dad would’ve had a heart attack at the prospect of how we could manage it. 🤣 A few months after France ‘98, I joined the STC (needing a letter or consent from my mum). Got to my first away game in Prague ‘99 on a bus that picked up at St.George’s Cross underground for the long journey ahead, a matter of hours after our disappointing away draw with the Faroes(?). Over 50 away games later. Many more downs than ups, but good times and lots of friendships and memories along the way. 41 year old now. Safe to say that this is the one I’ve been waiting for. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
  17. I used Passport Travel a number of times back in the day and they were great. The more often that we can get Sport Options and Wonky Sheep offering trips, the better. I can’t reasonably get away for more than 2 nights at a time which becomes restrictive for trying to get flights. Direct flights with charter companies will always be a massive bonus. Like Squirrelhumper says - the wonkysheep pricing for euros package seems very reasonable.
  18. Anyone with recent experience of private parking charges and whether anything has fundamentally changed? Only ever had one years ago and ignored it and it disappeared after a few letters. Recently got one from Asda in Barrhead. It used to be fair game for parking but they just brought in restrictions. They issued a warning letter for first offence, but then I got a fine as I’d returned on the same day. So, I could reasonably state that I hadn’t received the warning before the fine - however, that may be the mistake if I choose to engage with them.
  19. Just spotted someone say that very suggestion on a different forum. 👍
  20. I bought an interrail pass on the black Friday sale. I think you can only have 1 day for outbound journey in home country, and 1 inbound day. Reason I mention that is the sleeper would be 1 day and then you’d be using UK travel again the following day for Eurostar so that wouldn’t work - I don’t think. I am going to check that to be sure though so will report back. We currently plan to go Glasgow-London 6:30am on 12th. Eurostar at 1pm gets us to Cologne 6:15pm. Train the next morning to Munich.
  21. A few of us booked in Mainz. Think it can be a bit quiet from what I’ve read, but only 30mins on train into Frankfurt and within reach of Koblenz, Bonn for day trips. Proximity to Frankfurt is the big bonus though.
  22. Just spotted it last night mate and took a screenshot with a view to posting back on here but you’ve beat me to it. 👍
  23. I have my eye on the Spain-Croatia game as well. Bit of a jaunt the day after the opening but would be good to go to Berlin and the Olympic stadium during the euros.
  24. Thanks mate! That’s the technical answer I’m looking for! 👍 We have Interrail pass, but don’t want to consume a day of it if not necessary. Will prob get a Deutschlandticket anyway just to cover us either way. I see that the RE trains from Cologne-Gelsenkirchen take the same time as ICE more or less so easy to sort either way.
  25. Hi David, don’t suppose you know if Cologne is in the catchment area for the free match travel to/from Gelsenkirchen? (planning to go up for Spain-Italy the day after our game).
