The world at war. Has there been a better series about ww2. I'm watching at all again.

There is no doubt it is a classic series and probably one of the best things TV has ever gave us.

However from what we know now there is much omitted and it is a propaganda piece that tries not to upset anyone

Albert Speer is the prime example - given a deal by West and allowed to play the "good German" till he was dead

This will be my one and only engagement with you on this absolute bin fire of a thread.

Who are you ? The font of all authority ?

It's less than 48 hours since a supposedly pish team scored first against a supposedly better team and what was the result ?

    Crack on though

It’s incredibly difficult (some might say impossible) to pick the most mind bogglingly stupid post on this thread, but I’m going to give it to you chief!

    Many congratulations.

It's only stupid if you are a happy clapper or brain deid

Looking back on the qualification campaign still gives me the shivers thinking how easily it could have gone the other way - and lets be honest since 1998 the last campaign was an exception

If you think Scotland qualifying quickly makes us a fabbo team - or if you are part of the "if we beat Spain we can beat anybody" brigade - or if you think these bad results are just meaningless games - then you are in for another disappointment

We were as lucky as fuck and thinking we weren't makes you part of the problem and not the solution because since we qualified we have not progressed

Can you imagine any other half decent International team going on a massive run of non wins before a major tournament ?

    Naw - me neither

It's been a few friendlies and dead rubbers you numpty. We qualified for the euros with ease.

You are kidding yourself if you believe that

Yes we qualified early however we were a defenders slip and a cocky substitution away from us finishing 3rd

So, after looking imperious pretty much the whole way through qualifying, now we’ve completely lost our mojo and we look hopeless again. With pretty much exactly the same squad. I worry that the hopeless is closer to the actual ability of our players, and that we managed to play above ourselves for a while. If we could find that once then we can find it again, but we’d better get a move on if we don’t want another ignominious failure at a major finals.

Imperious is stretching it a bit

99 times out of 100 we don't win that game in Norway - They were coasting and took Haaland off

Then there is the Spanish defender slipping - allowing Robertson to cut it back for McTominay.

We have carried some amount of luck

It really is fine margins between qualifying and finishing 3rd

No nation at our level would sack their manager after qualifying the way we did.

The way we qualified still gives me the fucking fear looking back - we were very, very, very fortunate and have carried a mahoosive amount of luck

But i already agreed with that in my previous post

Failure? Are you honestly this fucking stupid.

Would any "top" nation stick with a manager after a run of results like that ?

The answer by the way is no.

We are no longer a top nation and as has been shown over the last 30 years - failure is acceptable to us

Yes - the 7 games without a win have been "meaningless" - That's one way to look at it i guess going forward

    No, he won't. Cmon now.

Im obviously not his biggest fan, but he will be here for the Euros, there isn't any question over that IMO.

In fairness not many countries would hang onto a manager after the string of results like that

We will - failure is acceptable

Why would you resurrect this thread? Just post on the match thread.

    Two reasons

    1 - Reverse Jinx

2 - Getting it ready for full time - because make no bones about it,  defeat raises serious questions

There was nothing understated with Diadora's 2007 set of kits. The new "home" outfit was all-navy with metallic gold trim. The change kit was in all-white with a pale blue St Andrew's cross on the chest, an inspired interpretation of a patriotic theme, worn for the first time against Italy, in Bari, on 28 March 2007 in the Euro 2008 qualifying campaign.

Scotland 2007-08 Away Kit by Diadora

When you start choosing shirts for a best ever Scotland kits blog you think to yourself, ‘don't just choose a shirt based on a memory’. I'm not sure if this is the case with the 2007-08 away kit, but you have to have it in there, and I'm sure all Scotland fans would agree with that. The design is actually a strong one with the Scotland flag represented with a Saltire cross design across the front of the shirt, but honestly, it’s that James McFadden goal against France that seals it’s place as one of the best Scotland shirts of all-time. Simply incredible.

Diadora brought this away kit out in 2007, perhaps because having one Saltire on the players' chest wasn't patriotic enough.

And finally to top your lies off

Or end of days moves up a gear . He’s the type to do something to try and fuk up the kick off in Munich this June. Demon that he is.
Still glad Iceland put Israel out of the Euros , but might not be good for humanity. They’re playing Ukraine tomorrow. Iceland, that is. No pressure there then.

    ?

Netanyahu is an "ally" of the west and poses no danger to us - we will probably face repercussions from extremists because of his actions but that's a different matter

Hope so. He seems a very unpleasant human being.

The problem is - If we were of the Zionist mindset like Netanyahu would we be doing anything different ?

The Israeli's gave up trying to find a solution to Palestine maybe 20 years or so ago - when the settlements ramped up

They realised that the Islamists in Palestine were never ever going to accept the state of Israel and the result is what we are seeing now

Ironically it does have a "final solution" ring to it

Of course the ones they arrested fit ISIK profile……otherwise bit of a shit attempt at a false flag set up?

    Nae sense

If you are Putin setting up a false flag operation you would get characters that can pass as "Ukranian Nazis" and make sure they don't survive to tell the tale

This also is strange from ISIS - normally they dont't allow themselves to be taken alive

Going by the state of them after being in Police custody it looks as if they were being "persuaded" to say they were in the payroll of Kiev with no joy
