  1. got to listen to this pish for 3 months now - just play it next week and get it by with. Was listening to Radio Scotland earlier and Chick Young was wanking himself into a frenzy over the prospect of an OF derby. It will be good for all of scottish football, it's the game everybody wants to see, etc.
  2. this happens in my local Lidl. Lidl have always charged for bags, so folk just walk out with the basket.
  3. just watched REC, i enjoyed that. The bit where he stuck the camera up the loft hatch, i knew what was coming and i still jumped. Reminded me that I need to watch The Blair Witch Project again.
  4. I imagined somebody would say that Anyhoos, I'm now 'buying' REC off the interweb. Will watch it later.
  5. This thread also enouraged me to watch Event Horizon last night. I'd never seen it before. Similar review to yours. Very average and not really scary.
  6. Only thing that scared me as a kid was Watership Down.
  7. It was Top Gears fault with yon car with the reggie plate
  8. is this Ashleys cunning plan? Have full control without going over the 10% share limit?
  9. I'm guessing its covered by the rule you cant show live football at 3pm on a Saturday.
  10. Ashleys cash injection is a 'loan' remember. No mention yet of the condition of the loan. This £2m keeps Rangers afloat until January, then what? Either cuts to live within their means or some huge financial package to get Rangers back into the SPL and Europe. Ashleys goal must be to get Rangers back into Europe and his brand name europe wide. Also Ashley doesnt say anything so I assume he must be appointing somebody to the board to speak for him?
  11. Haven't seen any pictures of the fitba tonight but going by the last 15 mins of R5L the only thing that happened tonight was Balotelli swapping shirts at half time.
  12. lol sent to the stand in his first game. Is he demanding clarification yet? or has he compiled a dossier?
  13. some pics from my day. Dark clouds looming just about to unleash that downpour 15 mins before ko,
  14. I enjoyed going to Ibrox. Haven't been there for about 20 years. Atmosphere would have been so much better with a 50K crowd but the ticket prices were the reason for that. We walked from central glasgow out to Ibrox. We foolishy thought you could go over the squiggly bridge and then simply walk along the side of the clyde. You used to be able to do that, couldn't you? Lots of fences, barriers etc, stopping you. At the fitba the boy 2 seats away from me slept through the whole game. Possibly caused more by his alcohol consumption than the quality of football on show. Anyway we won. Some more beer and then the mad last train back down Ayrshire way.
  15. I believe so. Mar Hall and Dumbartons ground is where you'll usually find them on the run up to a home game.
  16. http://www.theguardian.com/sport/picture/2014/oct/07/sport-picture-of-the-day-euro-2016-qualifiers-scotland Pic of Marshall in the Guardian today. Scotland team training at Mar Hall and it was quite foggy this morning. I work next door. Can anybody name the other player?
  17. at the very least I'd pay a garage to flush the petrol out, replace the diesel filter, fill it with diesel and give it a go. The worse case scenerio is the high pressure diesel pump is goosed. These rely on diesel for lubrication.
  18. bawbags, the pair of them. Remember the coverage they both used to get in the Daily Record? Marti 'My heroin hell, it's no my fault, etc' and her with 'this modellings tough, it gives me sore feet'
  19. i think the locals were looking for any reason just to beat them up.
  20. so is this the turning point for McCoist and the media then?
