Yeah saw the alun armstrong one when it came out i ll watch out for the long shadow i saw Sherwood on iplayer on a recent home trip am sure was a tv series in early 2000s with him and ‘Ickey’ actor from one summer where they were in italy ; i just switched on in middle of it tv dramas are something the north americans cant seem to do ; cheesy tv movie stuff or big budget mini series

have loved watching David Morrissey all the way back from 'one summer' early 80s - pretty sure am same age as him Red Riding was a good series , he was a reporter in that i think - currently watching 'the reckoning ' tough going ; Steve Coogan very good in the part

just watched the afc v helsinki highlights on you tube - all 2 mins of it - call me old fashioned ; but that's a foul throw before helsinki goal ? unless they've changed the rules on that too The player taking the throw-in must throw the ball from behind and over the head and he may have had a foot on the pitch... not sour grapes ; just noticed over years how nobody cares that much

I ll hold my hand up on billy stark ( and bobby ‘bobbys blouse’ connor ) only in later years did I appreciate what they brought - guess if you raised on old school blood & thunder fitba …. ex south stand boo boy paul mason was bit of an unsung hero imho
