  1. We were in Nashville last year Combined it with a family holiday - New Orleans, Memphis, Atlanta, Smoky Mountains, and a weekend at The Masters Grand Ole Opry and Country Music Hall of Fame were excellent Titans stadium tour is impressive as well The city itself is spotless, with plenty places to drink and eat at reasonable prices The Wildhorse Saloon offers an evening filled with fun, dance and grub for all the family - Make sure you check though, as they have a lot of private parties We found it really nice to walk along the Mississippi Waterfront on an evening too Not sure what you've got planned, or for how long however, doubt you'll be disappointed Have a great time!
  2. My view too - Rock & Hard Place stuff That said, most (myself included) see the bill as a wrecking ball fuelled by idiots who have zero interest / appetite for independence - A deliberate 'own goal' isn't an extreme observation either What a mess
  3. Let's not pretend this is about the bill in isolation
  4. Firstly, the legislation is secondary Secondly, that 'advice' eminates from unionists only Therefore, and unsurprisingly, there is no balance to this whatsoever
  5. Your interpretation is dismissive, and permitting WM to ride all over a devolved issue What is thought of the bill is irrelevant, which is how phart positioned it I agree with him
  6. You've completely ignored the point @phart is making Is that convenient?
  7. It's a good thread / read Ramy Probably the most I've posted in years.......
  8. Bollocks, that's up there with the shite you post on the fitba threads 😉
  9. Perhaps, and further deflection That's not what we're talking about though
  10. What was that out of interest? Wouldn't surprise me that the 45 are polarised, hardened, and circling the wagons Still there to be had, with a party in place that genuinely means what they say, and understands why they've been elected My glass half full remains hopeful that going backwards to go forwards is what will happen
  11. Remember that you're conversing with Mr Deliberate Conflation.....
  12. Agreed And very clear that one size does not fit all 👍
  13. The SNP may not be in government post indy You know that though
  14. Congratulations / Enjoy! 55 is a great time to 'get on with it' if you can - It's not a rehearsal either - You're only here the once 👍 That said, there's a balance though, and to go from FT to zero will be 'different' for you - I took a package at 49 - Tried it (Golf Course most days / AB24 & Scotland away trips) - Way too early (For me) Now 58, and have been 'working' (*Cough) at a local fee paying school 3 days per week, term time only for the last 5 years - Perfect for us / me Fortunately I have a couple of FS schemes, one of which I draw, that allows me to do this right now - My wife is 55 this summer - With her FS contribution and our combined DC schemes we probably won't wait much longer - We like to travel, and have just purchased a new motorhome for UK / Euro trips too A much better alternative to the 1000 mile round trip watching the Dons get pumped
  15. And reserved, please don't forget that very important bit
  16. 'All of us joined the SNP because we want independence' is my personal favourite from that mailshot Too much going on so I'll hold off for now however, what an absolute shit show / open goal we appear to have given them
