I’d suggest they stop wasting everybody’s time by saying that they’ll demand a referendum if they ‘win’ the election.

‘Win’ being defined as a majority of seats.

If the bar is a majority, or 55-65% as you said previously, then stop fucking about with requests until then.

And I also look forward to them telling me what happens if 55-65% isn’t deemed enough by Westminster. After all, we were sure that the dream scenario of Scotland ‘being dragged out of EU’ would be a game changer. The map could not have yet painted any more of a contrast. We were told that ‘now is not the time’ could never hold. We were told that denying democracy was an outrage and just wouldn’t be accepted.

    Spot on

I don’t have one Craig, I’m at least intelligent to know there isn’t one until either there is a real undeniable support for Indy or when the political circumstances make a deal expedient.

If you’ve a different solution I’m all ears, but don’t shoot the messenger.

Sorry if that sounded like a personal attack, I'm just frustrated bud.

I heard the deputy SNP guy saying yesterday that the SNP and wider yes movement need to promote the more positives of indy. I feel that's all we've been doing for ten years+

I know that the movement has been going decades longer but since 2013 it just seemed a bit more attainable and positive thoughts is a bit like thoughts and prayers after a high school shooting.

It's up to the SNP to answer the disputed points and give solid answers to assure the soft no vote regarding pensions and currency.

I personally don't think that the current strategy, the same strategy of the past 10 years is winning the argument.

We need radical thought, the common weal were amazing pre referendum, not the incumbent thought of how do we retain power and achieve indy.

Again, apologies if I came across as a personal attack.

Been watching The Last of Us. Its not bad, some episodes are better than others, I think the high ratings are from people who played the computer game though . I had no idea it was based on that till after I started watching it.

Just started watching The Glory. South Korean show. Only 2 episodes in but seems quite interesting so far, though its been a bit uncomfortable to watch at times.

Just watched the first episode, loved it, but aye I absolutely loved the games.

I enjoyed carnival row on prime, but they've not commissioned another season 🤬

  4. A few years ago a schoolboy was murdered in east Kilbride. Ek celts kid was at school with the victim.

On the day of the murder I'd driven past the site and seen a large group of lads. Ek celt sent me a DM saying I should go to the police, we talked a couple of times about the incident and I was saying that the amount of conspiracy theories of what happened was off the scale.

He absolutely went off on one with me.

It was from then on I considered him an unhinged twat and never spoke to him again.

    Thoughts with the family etc

  5. I'm with ally here, capitalism is the problem.

    Fracking? Seriously?

As for finite resources, the wind is always blowing.

Were we not told that energy prices would fall as our energy would come from sustainable resources?

It seems like paying shareholders a premium comes before everything else.

Unfortunately nothing will change in Scotland as we're a bunch of shitebags.

I see Israel and Palestine kicking off again. Nightmare.

Alex Jones in the first trial to lose about $50 million.

I ran out of podcasts earlier this week and listened to some of his and infowars testimony. It was so devoid of any coherence it was hilarious.

Some of it was also chillingly fucked up.

Someone arguing that it was compassion and his(Jones) big heart to give the families some hope that he said the shooting victims were still alive. Cause even the slightest glimmer of hope it was fake was and they were alive is better than them being dead. Proper psychopathic gas-lighting

He's absolutely off his rocker that one. Things going from bad to worse for him.

He epitomises everything that is wrong with the internet.
