Scottish football lacks leaders throughout, from the top of the SFA and its clubs to the players on the park. The leaders of the clubs are selfish cunts and the SFA are happy to plod along to their tune.

Exatctly, the SRU have worked wonders over the last ten years to get a competitive side on the park, this along with good marketing has seen an increase in attendances and there's an excitement around the team. However there is one more significant difference between the SRU and the SFA or perhaps rugby and football. Playing international rugby is the pinnacle for scotland players, we cant see the same for the SFA and the football players. The SFA is run by the clubs for the clubs, so who's doing the infiltrating? I never thought I would say this but I would rather watch the rugby than the football nowadays. I'm no glory hunter, If I were I would be following more successful sides, all i want from any team I watch is a show of determination and fight in every game. We haven't had that from a scotland side for years and I include Strachan's good run in that.

The criticism of Forrest prior to the nations league was absolutely justified as he never turned up when playing for Scotland before then. His performances in the Nations league were exceptional and deserved praise but I think its harsh to say people had it in for him. I was a vocal critic of his but not only him, not many of our players deserve to be lavished with praise of late 😂

agree with both of you Forrest has in the main been shite for scotland apart from the nations league where he turned up and had a huge hand in getting the playoff spot. One thing I would add, who ever gets picked to play upfront is on to a loss already, its a thankless task when there's nobody in midfield linking the play
