  1. Couldn't agree more. We SHOULD have put a Celtic nations bid together, now that or any idea including us again can be shelved for 20 years, a stupid and essentially mystifying move. I can't see ANY benefit to it whatsoever.
  2. Thing is there is no way in the world this resource is going to be left where it is, the govt in England is SO inept and pathetic it NEEDS the revenue DESPERATELY, people can cry about the environment, it won't make any difference to them, at all. We had a chance in 2014 to change all of this, change the attitude towards the environment and the use of fossil fuels and our resources but no, "we" were too pathetic and too fkin stupid.
  3. Our tickets? really? that's mental. well, think we all know what Mrs Bzzzz will be getting for Christmas then 😂
  4. I always thought it felt like Levein was in there to make sure we didn't qualify or even get close.
  5. The govt in England won't even agree to put measures in place to help us get parity with regards to showing our national team matches on tv, you honestly think they'll help fund a refurbishment (or more) of our national stadium!?
  6. Remember there will be more games to come too so points will still be available.
  7. Hmm. Agreed re they take over the chat but would be good if they'd do enough background work to help avoid that, include them in the squad if they're going to play, not interested in someone who can't make their mind up if they're Scottish or not... aye. Would LOVE to see Doak in there, this "he must progress through the stages" pish does my head in, he's clearly good enough to be there, just do it ffs. Having a 17yr old future star in the first team would provide SO much inspiration for kids, so many other countries do it so why not us. It's an issue with self belief IMO.

And that's what national teams are about is it? being proud to be represented by english players not good enough to play for their own country so they "decide" they want to use our national jersey? No much pride in that fella.
  9. Yep, welcome to little england where nothing's ever their fault and they're always right. Don't want ANYTHING to do with this bid. Hope it fails.
  10. I think Spain will be 'expecting' to beat both us and Norway. Fingers crossed we set about them like we did last time.
  11. Euro 2028: How losing home nations could still qualify through bizarre loophole (msn.com) Mon ra Turks!

That what? all of a sudden he decides he's not good enough for his own country?
  13. The SFA's 1st year runs (March) 1873-1874... Seen the Mexico kit? jeez... SURELY we could do somethin a wee bit different!
  14. It's v nice BUT I'd like to have thought there might have been some reference to our 150th year, given that we invented international fitba an awrat...
  15. Agree 100% I'd LOVE to go to another World Cup but the next one being spread over the Canada, Mexico and the US, it's just fkin stupid. How the hell are "normal" fitba fans supposed to afford that!?
  16. Noticed Andy Robertson smashing Porro in the chops the day, nice.
  17. I agree, given it's the SFA's 150th they should have been looking to do something unique, to attract serious finance into the country etc not pander to and hang on to England's coat tails. I've no interest in this whatsoever and think we should pull out.
  18. If it was up to me England would have been banned from competing as well as hosting. The fact that they are even being considered after their fan's behaviour at the final, is a disgrace.
  19. I reckon they'll do a home countries plus Ireland style group for qualification.
  20. It'll be more like 40 BILLION then...
  21. I agree, we are neither passionate nor brave. I find it utterly embarrassing that my own country voted AGAINST it's own independence because it was feart. The "union" really has done a hell of a job on fowk here.
  22. The thing with this subject is that it's very personal to people, I take it personally when I hear this constant "Scotland's shite" narrative from the BBC and other outlets, it enrages me and it's difficult to reign in reaction. I also find it difficult to cope with that people will happily and quietly let this pish wash over them, this is personal and this is why people react angrily. Trouble is the british state media/propaganda machine is so powerful we really need to be on our toes ALL the time but I still dispute the need for a "nicey nicey" approach, play them at their own game IMO.
