Longrow's Achievements

  1. Many thanks to SteveMcD for picking up the date error. The presentation is on the morning of the game - June 13th.
  2. Tartan Army Childrens Charity will be making our donation in Dublin to Lauralynn - Ireland's Childrens Hospice. Lauralynn provides palliative care and support for children with life-limiting conditions from birth to age 18. Working with the child’s primary care team they provide high quality Respite, Crisis, Transitional and End-of-life care, between Hospital, Hospice and Home. Additionally, Lauralynn provides Residential Care for young adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. Our donation will enable the Hospice to purchase a new Acheeva® Graduate bed, which has proven to be truly inclusive, allowing children who have to spend time in the lying position to join in all classroom activities, supported, in comfort and relaxed. http://www.symmetrik...pg=Y563evHNKbg= We'll be making our presentation to the hospice on the morning of the game - June 13th. If you'd like to join us, let's know.

  4. Tartan Army Childrens Charity are trying to locate two long standing TACC supporters Craig Maclean (Taffy) Ian Learmonth If anyone knows these fine lads, can they please get them to contact TACC at http://www.tartanarmychildrenscharity.org.uk/main/abouttacc/contact-us.html cheers
  5. On match day, TACC will be making a donation to an orphanage at Falbogi which is a small village located about 40 miles to the east of Warsaw. Our donation will enable them to complete the construction and equipping of a play/fitness centre at the orphanage. Due to the transport limitations we're not able to take all the TA to the orphanage, but if you think you'd like to help the kids remember the generosity of the visiting TA, you might like to pick up a few sweets or tartan gifts from your local Scotland shop or at the airport that we can give to them. If you think you'd like to, and be able to do this, then could you drop off any items at either the Radison Blu Sobieski (In my name - Jim Hart) or at The Westin (in Elissa Marnie's name). We'll be at the hotels from Sunday evening and will be departing for the orphanage from 08.45 on Tuesday, match day. cheers
