  2. Agree, the two friendlies were the ideal opportunity. I think he provides more legs and tackling than magregor and gilmour who seem to to be too similar to be effective together. Obviously offers something going forwards too.

  4. Surely Clarke can't ignore when a player transforms himself from a average attacking midfielder to a fantastic holding midfielder much longer!
  5. Given that it’s a 26 man squad like the last Euros, here’s the previous squad and who is likely to replace them. The ones in italics are ‘dropped’ and the ones in bold are their replacement. Numbers are my guess of % chances of going if they’re fully fit. Shows the few that are in danger and the one place that’s anyone’s atm. Goalkeepers Craig Gordon 100 David Marshall Angus Gunn 100 Jon McLaughlin Zander Clarke 95 Defenders Liam Cooper 75 Declan Gallagher John Souttar 95 Grant Hanley Ryan Porteous 95 Jack Hendry 100 Scott McKenna 95 Stephen O’Donnell Tony Ralston 75 Nathan Patterson Aaron Hickey 100 Andy Robertson 100 Kieran Tierney 100 Greg Taylor 95 Midfielders Stuart Armstrong 100 Billy Gilmour 100 John Fleck Kenny McLean 100 Callum McGregor 100 Scott McTominay 100 John McGinn 100 David Turnbull no idea who will replace him, he might just do something boring like pick McCrorie rather than attacking midfielder or stick with Turnbull Ryan Fraser 50 Ryan Christie 100 Forwards Ché Adams 100 Lyndon Dykes 100 Kevin Nisbet Lawrence Shankland 100 James Forrest Tommy Conway 50
  6. Hi Ally, you make some very fair points, Scottish Sport for Palestine is part of Sport Against Genocide, which is also running campaigns to support other countries at the moment- it isn't just Palestine. The reason for promoting this specific campaign is because the PFA has specifically requested that the SFA endorse its proposal at the FIFA Congress in May. To be extremely clear, this does not mean that we don't support other countries or wouldn't support their proposals at FIFA Conventions. The idea that football is inherently dirty and should be left to rot is the very reason we want to work to change it. I don't dispute any of the points that you make about Syria, China and Iran but I do disagree that the thread needs to be removed. As I clearly mention in the petition, travelling Scottish fans were the reason that the FIFA Fair Play Award was invented in 1987. This award in itself was not TA specific, it was awarded to Dundee United Fans. Nevertheless, TA fans (UEFA Fair Play Award winners in Stockholm 1992) and Celtic fans (FIFA Fair Play Award winners in Seville, 2003) have since been awarded for their sporting behaviour and I do believe that there is a sense of justice and fair play that can be appealed to when talking to many Scottish people. There are dozens of athletes who have been murdered by the IDF, and dozens of sports facilities fully or partially destroyed, these are listed in our materials. I don't really understand what you mean by "It's only ever Israel they want to punish. And we all know why."? Israel is a colonial state. Palestinians have been brutally forced from their lands. The Israeli destruction of Palestinian sport is actually in itself a genocidal act- genocide extends to the erasion of a culture and sport is the only place where Palestine is recognised internationally. Zionism is racism. Israel is conducting genocide and is targeting athletes specifically. Football does not occur in a bubble. None of these facts are debatable.
  7. @Heuch Moray Was... Body Parts ...now including bodily expressions or motions - smile, shrug, shuffle, etc.
  8. Yep, there ain't no cause like a current, point scoring one though
  9. Louis Jackson on the bench for Man Utd tonight
  10. Christie immense for Bournemouth again. If you were to believe stats sites he is one of the best players in his position in the EPL.
  11. I’m clueless to what the current theme is! falling- fall- hang on ?! Can anyone title in bold letters like the old days please 😬
  12. 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 Its a shame other people aren’t as mindful and as self aware as yourself Sir. 🫡
  13. Think he had some injury problems but some hearts fans were sad to see him go. Fair play to him he’s gone abroad and done well and earned himself a move to West Ham. Will be interesting to see if he gets a chance there next season
  14. Just got a whole lot worse. McBurnie apparently out until the end of the season.
  15. Hes maybe just had the game of his life. Saying that he's scored 9 in 27 from midfield. A goal every 204 mins. He's only 23, could this guy be worth a shout for future squads. Never even heard of him until now.
  16. La Liga have announce some league fixtures will be played in the US from the 2025/26 season. Thin end of the wedge.
  17. That’ll be a boost for Johnston’s title hopes at Sturm Graz too
  18. Chings! Thats him and Bowat the CB doing well in that league. What’s the standard of that league?
  19. What about Jerusalem artichokes? By the time you've washed, scrubbed and peeled them - digging into all those indentations - there's almost nothing left!
