Given the date of the England game, there's a good argument for playing Celtic's form players who know each other's game and are on a high. I'd happily see Gordon, Tierney, Brown, McGregor, Armstrong, Griffiths and possibly Forrest all start the match.

Absolutely

Scott McTominay on Man United's bench, interesting

Although born down south with Scottish parents apparently he considers himself Scottish. Has he been in any age group teams? First I have ever heard his name

Youth Squads here and there, but not a regular.

"Scott Mctominay came on for Man Utd today.

due to be called up by the under 21s"

Jordan Archer back in goals at Millwall Hopefully injury free

surprised nobody mentioned Anthony Ralston getting a start for Celtic. 18 year old right back, surely an area we are very short in.

Six foot 4" .Hooray i think must be a centre half. Then I hear he is a midfield playmaker. I despair.

The celtic kid Johnston looked good yesterday, is an attacking mid which were well stacked in

Bates at rangers didn't look to good, is a CB where we have very few options

Bates isn't a player.  Certainly not on evidence seen so far.

What about Liam Lindsay at Partick? could he finally be the CB we've been praying for?

Has he played for the U21s?

I haven't seen much of Lindsay so not in a position to say if any good

But has anybody seen him on a regular basis and say if he has decent and real potential to be a future international. As we are in desperate need of some good young CB's coming through

He's really impressed me anytime I've seen him.

I said that weeks ago but because Rangers had had a few clean sheets I was told I was talking sh1te. He's brutal.

No you said he never would be, which is not the same as not on the evidence so far. He's an 18 year old lad nobody is saying he is a world beater but that's not to say he won't improve.
