Stapes
Been off work with shingles and have watched a couple of movies I haven't seen in years. One was K-19: The Widowmaker and what struck me most was just how bad Harrison Ford's Russian accent was. So what's the worst? Gene Hackman's Polish in A Bridge Too Far? Sean Connery's Spanish in Highlander? Russell Crowe's English in Robin Hood? Dick Van Dyke's English in Mary Poppins?
Ormond
Sean Connery in the Untouchables. Surely a Scot could do a better Irish accent than that?

Dillinger
My mum went on about "PS I love you" for ages. Me and the missus got 15 minutes in before we had to put it off. wanderer
One of my wife's pet hates is movies where you have American/British actors trying to speak Russian..... watching the Avengers last night and she said Scarlett Johansson attempt at Russian was like someone who had just had a stroke trying to speak with marbles in their mouth. This is the case with any movie we watch where actors try this (only one she gives pass marks to is John Malkovich in Rounders....but given his fathers side are from Croatia, it is probably slightly easier for him) as they will just use one or two Russian words, and then just fill in the blanks with Slavic sounding words that mean nothing.
