scotlad
Sad day for rock http://metalhammer.teamrock.com/news/2015-12-29/lemmy-dead-at-70 Aw no. No great surprise in some respects - he didn't exactly lead the healthiest of lifestyles, I think it is fair to say - but still very sad all the same. He was one of those people who seemed to have an air of invincibility about them. RIP.

the_burger
If you haven't already seen the 2010 documentary 'Lemmy' then I would recommend it. What a lifestyle, even well into his 60s. Amazing he lived so long really. Away from the tours and the music the film shows him in quite a sad light I thought. Estranged from his family, sitting down at the pub himself playing arcade games
Robroysboy
Just seen a tribute to him on bbc news, With reference to touring, he was quoted saying - sometimes you don't feel up for it, but the same could be said for plumbing. Great sense of humour. Lol

exile
If the stars fall down on meAnd the sun refuse to shineThen may the shackles be undone,And all the old words, cease to rhyme. If the skies, turn into stone,It will matter not at all...
