I remember seeing a spreadsheet once that someone with too much time in their hands had put together.

It basically added up the finishing league position of every club in Scotland and divided each total by the teams number of seasons competed, giving an average league position for each team.

I only remember that on that basis St. Mirren were the 10th biggest team in Scotland. A stat which underwhelmed me greatly.

In 1986 they were sponsored by Mitre.

I wouldn't go with eufa's club rankings. I just chocked on my tea and toast reading it hahahaha

Still, answer's the OP's question. It came from the South Stand home section at Todders, so Aberdeen are definitely bigger..........

And I thought Murdo McLeod had retired.
