Haggis McBasher
Hampden park would please the chairman as they could get decent crowd. Let them play at their home ground. Integrity of competition should come before cash It's the police who aren't allowing it in East Kilbride.

Not their fault we live in a nanny state and the polis won't let them play this one
adamntg
Hampden park would please the chairman as they could get decent crowd. Let them play at their home ground. Integrity of competition should come before cash Problem is that the ground is very open and there are lots of vantage points in the park where you can see the game. I don't imagine the polis are very keen on 3,000 Celtic fans standing on a grassy knoll watching over a fence.

Not their fault we live in a nanny state and the polis won't let them play this one They may be able to host matches against Dougals Dog and Duck team and Auchintrockle Treacle Factory but they should not enter the Scottish Cup if they cannot host matches against opposition with a much larger following in the latter stages of a national cup competition Edited January 25, 2016 by DoonTheSlope

Ok then, I'll not be expecting them to enter next season or any season in future for that matter. They should play it at Rugby Park. Theyll have a chance of half filling the place for a change

Or how about they just sell the tickets they are allowed upto the capacity, give Celtic the required amount by sfa rules. Boom. Done. Why should Ek be punished because Celtic (or any other club for that matter) have a larger support?

If as what has happened there ground is not fit for purpose then they should not be competing at this level

DoonTheSlope
Are you being serious or fishing ? If they cannot cope in the eyes of Alex Salmonds private army in this case it being Celtic fans turning up then they obviously aren't able to host the match, therefor should forfeit there position Should the game be played elsewhere, If K-Park holds for arguments sake (I've not researched, too busy debating on here) 1,000 then each side should only receive 1,000 worth of gate receipts and all the rest should be ploughed into grassroots football in this country. It's not a money making exercise, it's the Scottish Cup FFS
