Squirrelhumper
The two Scots found some interesting ways to blow winning the title in Denmark at the weekend. Talk about poor course management!

Best result for Connor Syme for ages. That gets him close to the top 60 for the R2D.

Watched a decent chunk of it this morning and a bit less of the afternoon session. Some fantastic results and performances. McIlroys morning tee shot on 17 was great Fitzpatrick was on fire in the afternoon I believe Rahm was very good and Rose saved the day for Bob McIntyre, who had started well in fairness - hopefully he settles into it and gets a win of his own. Pretty strong line up from Europe in the morning. Captain obviously fancies to try and close it out as early as poss.
Toepoke
Interesting that Europe chose to start with foursomes for the first time in 30 years. It's been so long I didn't realise the home team could do that.

It is a wee bit. 🤣 But it was foursomes which, in my opinion, is the hardest form of matchplay to play in. It only needs one player to be a wee bit off his game for it to turn into a rout. Because you are playing so few shots it's hard to get your rhythm back if you start off badly. And, Hovland and Aberg birdied 7 of the 11 holes that they played, which is incredible scoring in a foursomes match. Nobody could compete with them when they are in that form. Not even Mr and Mrs Roy.

dandydunn
Haven’t swung a club since October or so, so the sensible thing is to book a weekend away with the lads for opens in Brora & Golspie. Looking forward to it.
dandydunn
Played Golspie today, absolutely wonderful track, +4 out and a bit of a blow out home when the wind picked up, bit first game of the season in shorts and Brora tomorrow, which could be a long day after the sesh tonight.
